~Ready To Forget~

Irene's P.O.V.

I was tapping my pen on the table while I waited for Jared, Wendy and Jade, they were still changing their clothes. I actually woke up late earlier but I managed to eat fast and took a bath, I didn't actually noticed that I already took half an hour taking a bath. I was still thinking about the thing Jasper saw yesterday... Slater, suddenly appearing at the stairs without doing nothing and smiling at me? That's too creepy for me. Jared needs to have an eye check up, something must've been wrong.

"Is Slater still bugging your mind?" Jared walked beside me and pulled a chair, he sat on it and looked at me. He must've sensed how restless I was since I sleep like... 1 in the morning and woke up at 5 but I alarmed my phone at 4.

"Who wouldn't? His sudden appearance on the staircase even frustrates me more, why did be suddenly entered the picture?" I groaned, Slater surely is a very weird but smart man. Not in a weird state where he's a geek or a nerd, he's just weird sometimes and I might well add the thing Jared witnessed yesterday. I think I could already see the ghost Diana in my dreams.

"Do you think this has something to do in his past? Since you already know everything around his family?" Wendy then came at the dinning room with Jade walking beside her... what is this? A pack meeting? early in the morning?

"That's impossible Wendy, I just told him that I know everything but I didn't elaborate every word his mom said" I also tried thinking of the words I used when I suddenly burst out in front of him, I didn't use anything but the words 'I know what happened, and I was know what really happened during that time if you want to tell me' that's all.

"We need to go Irene, it's already quarter to 7" I nod my head as everyone decided to go to the school. Everything was the same, our teachers teaching us until we could eventually fall asleep. What i'm looking forward to is the cheer leading practice we have today, at least I could distract my mind off of that guy.

"Now what's happening here" I asked, there were many people surrounding the entrance of the gym, most of them are girls. They were squealing and all, who's inside anyway? I think they're going to see a famous artist inside. I tried walking inside but the girls were pushing me away, I tried pushing them away also so I finally got inside. 

"Irene" That was the voice of the person who made me sleepless at night, he was the one who I dreaded to see.

"Slater? What are you doing here" Jared asked SLater, but his eyes were only fixed on mine. Now this is confusing, what is he doing here?

"I'm ready to forget" Slater smiled and all the girls around us squealed 

"Excuse me?" I asked again, I thought I heard him wrong. Forget? Forget what? He was still looking at me with much care which made me confused for a second and then Jared's theory started floating in my mind again. please just tell me what the heck is happening in this man's mind.

"Thank you Irene" The out of the blue, Slater took a step in front of me and engulfed me in a hug a if there were no people surrounding us. I was shocked at first, why would he even hug me just like he knew me that much? So I tried pushing him away but his arms are very strong so I couldn't get away from him. Until then, he pulled away from me and gave me a smile. The girls looked at us like a confession just happened, I don't understand a thing about what happened today.

"What was that?" I asked myself once the girls cleared their way and went out of the gym, it's time for them to leave. Only the basketball varsities are allowed to stay here together with the cheer leading team.

"I should ask that to you, why did he came here just to give you a hug?" Wendy asked me and looked behind her to see Slater already talking to his proud and relieved members, I guess they're happy that their MVP is finally here again.

"Forget? Forget what Unnie? Is there something we need to know?" Jade asked curiously, she looked at me as if i'm hiding something form them. Heck! Can't they tell how surprised I am to see him here and he even engulfed me in a hug? 

"Are the both of you a thing?" Jared asked as he raised his brow, now he's being an older brother when it come to love. Sometimes I just really want to rip his throat off and even his mind, he's not even thinking. 

"First, the frequent visit at their house. Second, the way I saw Slater staring at you earlier. And then now, he's telling you that he's already ready to forget?" Jared added, now quit being paranoid please!

"Believe me, nothing is going on" I told them as I started to walk towards ou practice room at the corner, Jared and the others followed me.

"Then explain what's happening there" Jared once again added, if he's still going to ask me i'm really going to rip his head off.

"We need to practice Jared, and your team captain is already looking for you" I used it as an excuse since Slater was staring at me.

"Let me rephrase that, our team captain is already looking at you?" Jared asked

"Jared"

"Got to go, I still need answers Irene" I rolled my eyes, can't they see how clueless I am?! Can't they stop asking me that?!

"Then just ask that boy" I answered as a matter of fact.

"You liked to call 'that boy' Slater huh? But now why did it suddenly felt like you're talking to a stranger?" Wendy asked as she raised her eye brow.

"Practice" I breathed out, I'm getting really frustrated.

"We won't unless you tell us everything"

"I don't know okay? What else do you want to know about him? You can just ask him eveything, for sure he can answer all your questions since he's the one who suddenly entered school and then started acting like that" I explained, well summarised everything which made them silent and shooked their head.
