Irene's P.O.V.

I smiled by myself as I stared at the clear sky at Han River, I asked Slater to come to the park because I have something very important to tell him. I was really worried when he was still having muscle pains yesterday, Jared told me that Slater had a pretty bad fall in game 1 before I even went to the court and cheered for him.

I felt really bad that he had to take me out that he even declined to stay put and rest, so I bought many medicines to give it to him. Since Jared will come to their practice training, I told him to give it to Slater.

"Did you wait long?" I stood up from the bench and stared at a very tired coach captain from running, he might be an athlete but that doesn't mean that they're all perfectly very healthy. Athletes also die because of not being able to take care of their body with healty diet and exercise.

"No, I just got here" Slater took deep breaths before holding my hand and placing it between his cheeks, I chuckled as squished his chubby cheeks. Eventhough he's handsome he's still a bit chubby, he's really a cutie.

"What are you doing?" Slater let my hand go as he then intertwined it with his as I stared at him in both owe and cuteness. I didn't know he can be so sly. He sure knows how to charm a girl.

"Checking if you're really telling the truth, even if your hands are buried inside your pocket your skin will still be cold from the weather" He acts cool and sweet at the same time but that doesn't really matter to me, as long as we're both happy I won't ming any hindrance that will come our way

"So, why do you want to meet up?" Slater asked which made me think of the real reason why I really wanted to meet him, I stared at him for a while contemplating what I'm going to do. Slater was just all smiles as he stared at me in confusion.

"Slater" I called his name, even just his name already made me shiver. From both excitement and romance, he's been always a guardian to me to the point that he can already by my guardian angel.

"Hmm?" He was the person who I can completely lean on to, to trust him no matter what happen or to have open arms to run to when things don't go the way I planned it. He's the reason why I become strong.

"I've been thinking about this for a week and it keeps bothering my mind when you're with me" My heart beats fast as it seemed like it agreed to what I said, I pulled Slater to sit on the bench where I was sitting on earlier and stared at him with our hands still intetwined.

"What is it?" Slater asked with sparkling clear eyes which captured my heart, I shooked my head in embarrassment because I really am not an expert to romantic things like this. I took a deep breath before asking Slater what I really want to say.

"Do you think we should already put a label between us?"

"It depends in you, you still didn't give me an answer yet"  Slater took a few couple of mintues before he asked me that question, he, himself was also caught off guard with my own question as I felt my cheeks being warm. I'm sure I'm looking like a tomato now.

"Why do you think I'm asking this to you?" I found some courage in Slaters words as he assured me that he'll support whatever decision I'll make. He'll wait for me and he's willing to let me decide, Slater looked at me in confusion as many thoughts ran through his mind.

"Yes?... You want to say yes?!" His lips broke into a smile as he lets go of my and for a second before holding it again, telling me that he was just surprised.

"What do you think Slater?"  I smiled as he proceeded to mutter words like 'wow' and some unbelievable sounds, he's even looking lost and confused but happy at the same time.

"Yes!!! She's mine! She's my girlfriend now! Whoa!!!" Slater shouted as I stood up from the bench when I noticed other people looking at Slater like he's a mad man. I hid my face on his chest as he proceeded to share the news to the strangers around us.

"Slater, control yourself" I whispered but smiled when I saw how really happy he is... how happy my boyfriend is.

"Wah! You gave me a heart attack today, good thing my heart is still beating for you." I chuckled immedately at his corny jokes and slapped him not too hard on his broad chest.

"You're too cheesy" Slater leaned down as he locked me in his arms and placed a chaste kiss on my lips, claiming me as his girlfriend. Official Girlfriend.

"Only for you" Our first kiss as a couple.
