~Future Family~

Irene's P.O.V.

I walked down from the stairs and saw the once happy and teasing smiles plastered on the faces of my whole family, they were all looking at me as if I have a good news or I have a very very good suprise.

"Seems like I know why everybody is looking at me with weird smiles" I immediately ran towards the door and saw Slater, once again leaning on his car as he waited for me. I have no idea when this 'fetching' thing started but I know that things like this will end up into dates.

"Where are we going now Mr. Song?" Slater smiled as he slowly walked towards me and gave me a warm and tight hug, none of us is aware that my whole family is watching us interacting like this. But when I'm with Slater, everything seems as if all the burdens and peoblems I have had already disappeared.

"I'm going to take you out for a date, the one where you'll really feel as if you're home" He added once he pulled away from the hug and kissed me on my forehead, I wrapped my arms on his shoulder as I played with his hair not wanting to let go of him that easy.

"Then take me to your paradise"

"Why are you dressed early in the morning? You're not like those 'I woke up like this' girls right?" Slater asked, I almost spitted the iced coffee I was drinking when he mentioned that. We are now going to his 'paradise' which destination is still unknown to me but I trust him and his capabilities in keeping me safe and away from harm.

"I wanted to walk around a park or at the Han River for a while, I want to clear my mind about all the stress I recieved in school. For sure you'll also have another game this week, Ms. Han said the principal is going to talk with another school and the game will be held at our school"

"Oh that, yeah Coach Lee also told me that. But shouldn't you just stay at home and sleep if you want to regain your strength?" My cheeks got a bit pinkish as I felt Slater's hand slowly reaching mine, we both held hands as he tells me all the thouhts that running inside his mind. This way, we can understand each other without fighting and can easily slove our problems between each other. Slater and I are both understanding persons and I'm sure we're also both happy to just hve a time of our own.

"Stop worrying about me too much Slater, I'll feel more shy when I'm with you" Smiles and joy was evident in us as we continued to talk and have fun while he's driving, we held hands and we never let go because we will finally go to places where I know that I'll be somehow be happy. A few more minutes before we finally arrived...

"This, is where my paradise awaits you" A gentle and amused smile appeared on my face as I slowly took a step on the green and healthy land below me, the sun was shinning very brightly and happily as all I could do is smile because of it's beauty.

If I'm not mistaken, this garden like structure is also one of Slater's family project, they are very much enthusiastic to build and create a garden like place where all kinds of family can stay and play here for the mean time. It was Slater's idea that brought life to such a marvelous and wonderful artwork, I am very much honored to be the first client or visitor to see this Paradise.

"It's beautiful here, I wish you could've brought me here the first time we met. If you did I should've already been your girlfriend" A chuckle made Slater smile as he sat down on the grass and leaned his back on the tree behind him, he chose a perfect spot where to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I sat beside him and rested my head on his shoulders, feeling a bit sleepy I decided to play with Slater's fingers as he constantly keeps kissing my temple.

"Is your head hurting again?" His voice was soft as if he knows that I might feel pressured and hesitant to answer his questions, Slater is a very witty man, h ecan feel it when I'm capable of lying or not.

"How many kids do you want to have?" But instead of being truthful to him, I just want him not to feel worried about me because I'm feeling like I'm being a burden to him.

"Okay fine I won't worry too much about you. But to answer your question I want 4, so our family would really be happy" 4? And he even should really really excited to talk about this topic... why did I even ask that? There are many topics to choose from and yet I asked something about family planning...

"Doesn't 4 sounds too many? And who said I'll have a future with you? Who knows maybe we're through even before we graduate" Actually, I think I couldn't even want to break up with him even if I want to. Slater is the man who I could see my future with, I'm sure that he'll take care of me no matter what.

"I love you too much to believe that you're doubting our future plans, I'll only be a father of a kid if you'll be their mother" Sounds cheesy but it's very romantic, Slater is a man of his words and is very much truthful.

"That sounds too cheesy, but I do agree. 4 sounds fun" I held his hand firmly and enjoyed the feeling of warmth as he sits beside me, one day, we're going to be happy once again. Time will heal everything but I know that I'll be living a very bumpy but happy life with Slater.

"2 girls and 2 boys, deal?" And Slater is still persistent about the children part, he really seems as if he wants to have a kid now at this age.

"What deal? I'm not planning to get married at this age" A gentle smile appeared from my lips as he caressed my face, I know he's going to tease me again. And true to my words, Slater slowly leans in to capture my lips with his, our kiss lasted for a minute before he continued his vow.

"Just promise me that you'll marry me, and I'll gladly wait for years just to propose to you and let you be mine"
