~Behind The Facade~

Irene's P.O.V.

The classroom was once again noisy from all the story telling, gossiping and of course teasing classmates who likes to make fun of each other. As usuall, the classroom isn't a classroom if it'snot noisy...

"Class quiet down, the Principal and adviser is here" Our president, Kenzo spoke as he stood up while my classmates went to their original places.

"Good morning Ms. Choi" We greeted as Mrs. Choi walked inside our room followed by our adviser who have a very happy smile plastered on her face, other boys and girls are very much thrilled to hear what thid announcement might be but I think some people already know what the news is.

"Well I'll make my announcement short, I came here to announce that there will be another game for our basketball team and cheerleaders next week. I expect everyone to practice hard and do well on the actual day" Everyone cheered even before our principal could tell that there was a game, they were very much excited and estastic to finally have another NBA like game in our school.

"I'm counting on the campus couple to arrange everything, I want us to win and bring home the throphy" Mrs. Choi winked at me as I just shooked my head and smiled a bit, even the principal knows that we're a thing I just hope everything will trun out to be fine.

"Yes Ms. Choi!" Mrs. Choi walked out of our classroom probably to make an announcement at the other classroom also, our adviser stood there proudly as she called everyone to focus on her first.

"Everyone, you heard our principal. Let's do our job and fight!" The principal and our adviser already gave us the permit to go to the gym to practice and maybe to improve our skills also, if there's a game then there's also a cheerleading involved.

While we're on the way to the gym, I met Slater and our friends who belong to the other section, me being Slater's girl, I began to cling to him as we made our way there.

"Train them well Slater, I'm going to support you" I chimmed and laughed, we had already arrived at the gym but Slater and I doesn't want to be separated from each other, call us both clinggy but you'll also feel like this when you have a boyfriend.

"Take care, I'm going to watch you" Then he placed a kiss on my forehead which immediately gained a reaction from my dearest brother... can't he just be happy for me? I'm going to kill him one time if he keeps doing this

"Can't the both of you break the sweetness already? The gym is just a few meters away from our campus and yet you're acting as if you're sending your girlfriend away"

"Stop it Jared, if you're jealous just keep quiet" Wendy nudged Jared's head and cursed a bit which made everyone laugh, they're still like a fighting cat and dog, no onw knows whe will they finally be friends with each other.

"Okay everyone, let's do the pyramid first. Try to balance your steps and be careful" I instructed, Slater held my hand and turned me around so I could face him once again. He held my cheeks and pressed his lips on to mine, I might melt here right on the spot.

A few minutes later everyone was already doing their work, Slater and I are really strict in time like this so I'm a bit confident that we'll get through this and win the throphy for our school. I ordered Wendy to help me organize our cheer mates and now all we have to do is perfect the human pyramid, though my headache is a bit bothering me again.

"Keep an eye on their feet, those who are-" I wasn't able to finish my sentence as I suddenly collasped on my feet once an unberable pain errupted in my head, everything is spinning but then it came back to normal. I thought something bad just happened but I don't think there's something wrong with me.

"Irene, are you alright?" Wendy immediately ran to me including my team mates but I just shooked my head and asked Wendy to help me stand, she assisted me to sit on the bleachers for a while and told me to just have a rest.

"I'm fine, I just suddenly felt a bit dizzy" Wendy will be the captain for the mean time today as I just decided to monitor them for a while, my eyes turned to the boys that were still practicing their shooting skills but Slater's deadly and glare like eyes bore into mine. He and Jared had exchanged glances for a while before they both looked at me with a very serious look.

Slater's P.O.V.

"Slater, why can't you believe me? I'm really fine" Irene uttered as she keeps on swaying our arms while our hands were clasped together, I've been giving her a silent treatment recently because I don't agree that she's feeling fine and well.

"I'm not risking any chance Irene, your head has been hurting for a week so don't tell me not to worry anymore" I asked Jared to drive my car to their house because I wanted to take Irene out for a date but then she looks really pale an uncomfortable while doing the stretching and human pyramid, Wendy can drive their car on her own so Jared is very much relieved.

"How about your team mates? They're all waiting for you, so go and train them" Since I left my car in Jared's care, Irene and I are walking on the streets. She keeps on making me chose my fellow basketball team instead of wanting me to stay by her side.

"Vincent is there and I know he'll handle everyone well, Jared then said that I should really keep an eye on you because he's also worried"I've been really noticing strange things and behavior from Irene, she refuses to make me worried but the more she keeps on pushing me away the more I'm currious and worried why.

"Jared did that? He said that you should take care of me?" I turned to Irene who already stopped walking, I nod my head silently and looked at her. She was very petite, has a tiny frame, looks a bit small and tired, this isn't right... there's something wrong with her...

"I'm going to take you home whether you like it or not, I'm going to do this everyday until I can really believe that you're trully fine"
