~School Couple~

Irene's P.O.V.

"Wow, my daughter is blooming today. I wonder why?" Mom's taunting voice made me stop from walking inside the living room, she was just preparing breakfast with dad because they just woke up now. I furrowed my brows when mom looked at me with a taunting smile which means she's happy for me, I told her about Slater and I's relationship and she was beyond happy to hear that wonderful news from me.

"Is it because she had a great day with her boyfriend yesterday or just because she's happy" Wendy's voice made me realize that they're really up to something today, it looks like they're all going to taunt me the whole day if today isn't Monday.

"But the look in her eyes last night was just twinkling, I guess something good really happened" Jade added as she rested her back on the chair she's sitting on, baby is already fine so she told us not to worry too much on her pregnacy. She'll stay at home and will just be enrolled in a home school.

"Why is everyone acting like that? You're making me confused" I uttered as I finally stepped inside the dinning room, my parents just smiled and casually eat.

"You'll be late for school, go outside because your driver is waiting for you" Dad uttered which caught me off guard, everyone smiled which made me feel really weird. Something is going on here, they're all smiling as if something good is going to happen.

"Driver? What driver?" I asked confused, I tightly held the strap of my shoulder bag and tied my hair in a pony tail.

"He's been waiting for you, 20 minutes had passed yet he's still waiting. He's a charmer and a keeper" He? Slater? I smiled and dashed outside as dad already gave me the clue on who that 'driver' can be, Wendy and Jared followed me outside soon after.

"You're here?" I must admit, my cheek bones are now hurting because of how wide I'm smiling. Slater seemed to be more energized to go here at my house right after the confession we had yesterday.

"Am I not allowed to go in your house? To fetch my girlfriend?" Slater stood infront of me as I saw his car on our parking lot, smiles were evident here and there as we stared at each other.

"What are you waiting for? To snow in summer to go with Slater?" Jared sarcastically said which stole Slater and I's attention from each other.

"The both of you will be late for school, just get inside the car" Wendy ordered while she was already going to enter Jared's car, Slater held my hand and took me to his car.

"Why did you suddenly came to my house like that?" Slater just smiled and booted up the engine once he entered the car, Wendy is right, we might get late.

"I just want to fetch my girlfriend to school, is there something wrong with that?" I laughed silently as I finally realized why my mom is teasing me, Slater probably went inside our house earlier while I was showering.

"So that's why my family is acting really odd, they're teasing me" Slater smiled and kissed my forehead as his eyes were still focused on the road.

"It's a bad thing, I didn't see your reaction while being teased. For sure you look very cute if you're confused" Slater completely teased me but to me it sounded like a compliment now, I chuckled silently as I noticed that things just got better because I am happy. The people around me are also happy and so is the man I love.

Once Slater and I reached the parking lot of the school everyone was looking at me as I got down from Slater's car, I can feel their eyes following me wherever I go as I waited for Slater to tell him. He held my hand infront of everyone as we walked together towards the building, now it looks like Slater and I are a hollywood couple because almost all of our classmates and the students here are gossiping and taking pictures of us like a paparazzi.

"Everyone is looking, Slater" I whispered suddenly getting shy as everyone's stares made me feel suddenly nervous, Slater is a girl's man, if a girl will get jealous of me then I think they'll get made at me and hurt me.

"Let them, I don't feel embarassed standing beside the person I love as I hold her hand like now" I shooked my head hiding my blush as Slater moved our intertwined hands upwards to leave a kiss on my hand, the students around us also squealled as they saw what Slater did. I just wanted the ground to swallow me right now if Slater won't still stop.

"Besides, even if I kiss you right now, they couldn't do anything but stare. We're both in a relationship so don't worry too much" He was about to really kiss me infront of all the student here because his hand unlasped from my hand and placed it on my waist but before he could even pull me near him, I raised my hand and put it on his cheek to stop him from doing so. What did I just get myself in?
