~Delusional Game~

Irene's P.O.V.

Today is the day when Jared and his team... in short Slater's team will be having a game with another school in basketball. They will need to defend our school for our sportsfest this week and as a captain of the cheerleader team, we are required to attend and support and as well watch our basketball team as they will fight a good match. But since Jade is already having her morning sickness and it's already getting worse, I just told our other team members to support the guys without us since jade really needs someone to take care of her. 

And yes, you heard me right, my sister is pregnant and that happened because of me. I thought she was going to be responsible for everything which happened on Ravi, a classmate of mine's birthday party. Mom and Dad were away for their vacation during that time so they left me and Jared in charged on whatever happens in the house and on our siblings. Jade went to the party with my consent but I never thought that something would happen to her. She was in the influence of alcohol and so is the guy, as she said, they basically had a one night stand and that was the answer to why I was wondering why Jade is acting so differently after she came back from the party the next day.

"Irene! I'll be leaving now!" Jared uttered, my sisters and I are just lying on our stomach at the living room as we kept on answering our assignments since we don't have anything to do anyway. Jared's already dressed in his basketball jersey and shorts, Mom and Dad are in the dinning room and for sure Jared went there first before walking towards the living room.

"Do your best!" We cheered for him and he gave us a smile, as much as he wants us to watch his game, he understands how much Jade needs to rest and that we should take care of her. Actually it was Jared to told us to take care of Jade rather than attending his game, he said he understands everything so we don't need to worry too much. Jared waved goodbye and closed the door, after that we returned to answering our assignments, there was complete silence but then I suddenly felt someone staring at me.

"What?" I furrowed my brows when I saw Jade and Wendy looking at me as if they're trying to read my mind, I don't know what's up with them but they were both slightly smiling at me and it seems like they're planning something I wasn't aware of.

 "Go" Jade uttered as she was sitting on the couch, her back leaning on the soft and fluffy cushion, the doctor told her not to lie down on her stomach many times because that is also a reason of why mothers are having miscarriage. Eventhough the baby is still small, she needs to do safety precautions because the baby is already growing.

"What do you mean go?" I asked them as I propped myself on my elbows and looked at Wendy who was enjoying reading her book, well love story book because sometimes, she's not reading her school books at home. She sat up and placed her book on the couch beside her and pointed at my work, i was just encircling all the things the question in my book is asking me to do.

"You're not following the directions in answering, it should be square not circle" I looked at the directions and facepalmed myself, what the heck did I just read? I've already encircled many letters, by now i'm at the number 25 and i'm already close to finish my homework. Irene why are you being dumb today????? Circle and square are entirely different!!

"Are you sure your mind is with us or your mind is already travelling towards Slater oppa?" Jade asked as she also placed her book down and gave me a smile, she can read my facial expression even if i'm mad or not. So it's easy for her to know if i'm pissed off or if i'm in deep thought, and it seems like she knows that i'm really in deep thought. Why am I thinking about the game anyways? For sure Slater-... For sure our team will do their best and win the trophy for our school.

"No I'm not, I was just..." I stopped mid sentence when I know that I can't formulate a sentence about being defensive that I wasn't really thinking about Slater. but come to think of it, I really am having a hard time focusing on my studies because of that man. As if he's doing something to me which made me a bit less focused in my everyday works.

"Go" Wendy heaved a sigh and turned her head towards the door, I was confused for a bit so I looked at Jade but she also have the same facial expression. Seriously, where do they want me to go?

"Where would I-?" Before I could even ask them where I should go, they rushed towards me and pulled me up on my feet.

"Let's go!" They cheered, Wendy took dad's car keys at the dinning room and quickly returned to her position beside me earlier.

"Wait I'm still not dressed!" I uttered but the two girls pulled me until we reached dad's car, they pushed me inside the car and then went to the passenger and driver's seat. Wendy is going to drive. 

"Just go there and cheer for him" She uttered, but then when she booted up the engine, I began to panic, Wendy isn't a good driver sometimes especially when she's excited.  

"Wendy!" I shouted when she suddenly pulled the brakes because the one infront our us is already halt. Wendy is going to kill me today, where are we going anyway?

"Let's go!"
