Authors notes: I know I haven't updated in aaaggggeeesss but I am now so chill and I'm also thinking of starting a new story but I'm not sure what the main characters name should be and the characters gonna be female. If y'all have any suggestions tell me what they are and I will choose a name.
These few weeks that had passed felt like years like 1000 years even, me and Laura had gotten so much closer and I'd completely forgiven her for everything. She was my rock the beacon of light in my dark life in this ugly and empty world. Though I had to remember that even rocks crumbled even the strongest of ones.
We were currently in P.E. the last lesson of the day thankfully. Me and Laura partnered up to play ping pong together which I could honestly say is definitely not my strong suit. I'll add to that actually i couldn't play any sports.
As I laughed at Laura's failed attempt to hit the ping pong ball with that bat I saw a glimpse in Laura's eyes of pain.
"What's wrong you look really upset. Colour?"
"Black." Black meant she was feeling like shit what was not good with our mind sets.
"How come?"
"It's just Gail and Simon and Penny choosing to play ping pong with Cassie. They're not even looking at us and I swear they're talking about me."
Quickly I decided that she didn't need this today so while the teacher wasn't looking we snuck out of P.E. and went to the toilets.
The toilets only had two cubicles and a couple of sinks. It was pretty shabby to say the least but it was private and quite.
"Charlie I did it again last night." Laura said looking down at her thigh that was obviously hurting her.
"Laura you should have messaged me I can help do you want a hug?"
She nodded her head slightly then i met her with a warm embrace.
"You'll be okay Laura you can get through this I promise."
*10 minutes later*
We were dragged out of the toilets by our P.E. teacher after Simon had tried to distract away from the toilets. We got back to the hall quickly with her heads down and slightly laughing to ourselves.
*That night*
I was laying on my back on top of my roof just looking up at the dark night sky wishing for something interesting to happen. I loved the cool crisp weather at night that stung against my skin and made me feel alive.
After I talked to Simon on my phone i climbed out of my window onto the roof to think over some things. Simon had started smoking weed. Fan fucking tastic. I needed a break from this place. From reality I had to get away. Run way. But I couldn't I have to look after people here. My own personal prison.
Peacefully I closed my eyes and started to sing a song to myself I always sang it when I was freaking out and when I was really down and it always cheered me up and today was no exception.
