Fallin' For Her

Chapter 7.

Ashlyn's POV
Kelley and Ali get up to leave while I go over to wake up Hope up.
"Hey Hope cmon get used we're going on a walk." I said to her. She groaned but got up and fixed her hair in the bathroom. She walked out five minutes later and I let her to the stadium. She looked at me confused as we walked into the locker room. I smiled and kissed the top of her head as I sat her down in Carli's locker.
"Ash why am I here? And sitting in front of her locker?" She asked in a small voice.
"Because there's bag of soccer balls in there and you're going to up to the field and go kick some shots to cool down. I'll be up there in a few minutes I just have to call Kelley to tell her where we are okay?" I lied but thankfully she bought it.

Hope's POV
I wasn't in the mood to argue with Ash so I took out the bag of soccer balls and went up to the field. My cleats were in hall leading up to the field with a note on them.
Hope,
I knew you wouldn't argue with me so here are your cleats. Go kick so ass ;) and I'll see you soon

I laughed at the note and put on my cleats on and walked to the furthest goals from the locker room. I emptied the bag and set up balls from with I was planning on shooting from. I scored a few but also kicked some fairly wide. It was my last ball and I was just about to kick it when I heard a small voice come from behind me.
"Hi." Carli said looking at me. I was confused as to why she was here but I'd question her on that later.
"Hey there stranger." I said with a smile. She laughed a little bit. I kicked the last ball and it went terribly wide.
"Maybe you should stick to goalie." She said with a laugh. I couldn't help but laugh.
"So I see you came here without any fuss with Ashlyn?" She asked.
"Wait! You planned this?" I asked confused.
"Yes because there's something I need to say. And don't you dare interrupt me okay Solo?" She's said sternly. I held my hands up in surrender and let out a small laugh.
"I shouldn't of blew up on you like that in the hotel. And I'm sorry. As I was sitting in the bathroom I was thinking of all the times we had. I couldn't help but smile. And then when I heard you leave and shut the door behind you I knew I messed up big time and I broke down. I walked out of the bathroom and saw you left a letter. As I was reading it I began crying and then I realised they weren't sad tears but they were happy tears. I was happy because I could get to play with my best friend on the national team and now on my club team. And then it hit me. What would I do if you weren't with me anymore? What if you never spoke to me? What would I do if I lost my best friend? And that's when I realised that back when I was new to this team you were the first person to accept me. You pushed me to be the person I am today. I helped you through your heartbreaks and troubles and you helped me through my struggles. On this pitch in this exact spot is where we first met. It feels like a lifetime ago but it was an amazing lifetime ago we've lived together. I need you Hope more that you could possibly know. You're my person. You always have and always will be. And I am really truly sorry that I hurt you. Could you ever forgive me?" She said with tears rolling down her face. I had tears rolling down too and I let out a small laugh and pulled her into a hug.
"Of course I do. I love you and I'm really sorry I never told you. You mean the world to me." I say through tears. She smiles and we hug again. We heard clapping and look to see Kelley, Ash and Ali all standing there.
"It's about time you too. And Hope stick to goalie from now on please." Ashlyn said with a laugh but Ali punched her arm and she screamed. I smile at how stupid she was but ran up to her and hugged her. And then I hugged Ali and whispered in her ear.
"Thank you for loving that goof. I know you'll never hurt her. She'll take care of you and god knows what else she'll do. Thanks for accepting her childlike personality because we both know she won't change anytime soon." I said and we both laughed and looked at Ash making faces at Carli and shook her heads. She looked at us confused and Ali went up and kissed her cheek and hugged her. I walked over to Kelley and hugged her tight.
"Thank you for being there for me today." I said and kissed her lips.
"I'll never leave you Hopey don't forget that." She said and kissed my cheek. I walked over to Carli and hugged her again. We started heading back to the hotel. Ash and Ali were in front with hands intertwined and Ali had her head on Ash's shoulder. Kelley, Carli and I were close behind. I had one hand intertwined with Kelley's around her should and the other around Carli's waist as she had head on my shoulder. When we got back to the hotel Kelley went to Alex and Tobin's room to collect some stuff and I carried Carli to her room because she was starting to fall asleep on my shoulder in the elevator. I got to her room and took her key from her pocket and opened the door. Becky was in there reading a book. She put it down when she saw me but didn't ask questions and lifted the blankets  so I could place Carli down. I took off her jeans and put some shorts on her and tucked her in. I sat on the end of her bed and explained everything to Becky. I went and kissed Carli on the top of the head and walked out of the room saying goodnight to Becky.
