Three years Later....
Where is Afro boy? He was nowhere to be found in the alley, the plaza, the library...
where could he be hiding?
Well; now the spring semester at AUC is ending; everyone is extremly busy, and it feels like a crazy world. The only talks going around campus are about late assignments, exams, final revisions and farewell parts for foreign students. Just by walking in university one could easily detect the frustration from which the people are suffering. The entire university seems like a huge bubble labeled frustration. Everyone is nervous except for one girl…
Her name is Julie. She is a brunette and loves getting highlights in her hair, her skin is fair but
some parts of her are tanned. She is 1.65 meter tall and her eyes are hazelnut. Sadly; she is 20
years old and unlike the majority of people my age; still living under my parent’s roof. As anyone
might know it is not the greatest life for a girl who just turned twenty. Well here is where she
happen to say “Age is just a number” and not in a good way!!!
she seems happy and energetic. At first sight one might assume that she is one of the nerdy students who have worked hard the entire semester and now is willing to take a content break as she knows everything she needs for the coming two weeks. Surprisingly she is not a nerd rather she is happy because she is going to meet a special friend of hers…
well that is what she calls him.
she does not seem to count him for more than a special friend, but she is interested in the relationship forming between them. Today she was dressed in her skinny black jeans, brown body fitting top which had an African print in the center and not to forget her flat blood red shoes, the shoes that her special friend likes. Every time she wears them he has to gaze at them in amazement and say “Wow… your shoes are so cute and your feet are so small” and she loves it.
For some reason he has always been fascinated by the red color, constantly commenting about any red item worn by her. He remarks that it makes her extremely attractive. Fact states that the vast majority of men love the red color being the color of blood, as men have always been interested in hunting and war. Therefore red has always been a major turn-on for many males, but the difference is that her special friend does not seem to have the same type of fascination as other males. His was a much deeper desire, almost like that of breathing for any human being. He highly regarded and appreciated the red color in a mysterious way. It was visible through his eyes… almost uncontrollable…
she was on her way to the library. She wanted to print out some of her assignments so that she can submit her end of semester portfolio. she was done printing then she went to check her facebook page. She did not seem to appreciate facebook; it felt like a waste of time for her since she was always busy.

Spotted was Afro boy walking through the plaza towards the library... He appeared very serious, like
he was on his way to accomplish an important task… He walked his cocky walk all the way to the
library and raised his hand to his forehead in a gesture to greet the guards on his way in.
... walking with his shallow smile one that does not reach the eyes, but in his case one can never
be sure as his shades are always covering his eyes until he made a stop….

The girl was done and ready to leave; she felt some coolness in the surrounding air, the library was already cold since it was air conditioned but the kind of cold that she felt was different one that instantly raises goose bumps. Then a shadow fell up on her body, someone was walking and made a stop at her seat right before she packed her books and papers, but she did not seem to sense the aura of the person behind her back or at least if she did she did not make any effort to show it…
It was the Afro boy, he was the person who stopped behind her and now his right hand was going through her hair. She jumped up startled knocking two of her books on the floor, but when she noticed it was her special friend she blushed saying “Don’t sneak up on me like that ADAM!”
“What can I do it was very tempting… you looked like you were concentrating and I did not think that you would get scared, sorry anyways but you look incredibly cute when you are angry” he said so while picking up her books from the floor.
“Well I am not really scared… whatever!!! Just do not do such a thing ever again, ok Adam” she said so while giggling.
He apologized again but this time he seemed more sincere about it.
Even though the girl appeared to be still adjusting to the fact that she looked like a fool in front her special friend, Adam, she also seemed very contented to see him.
They hung out for quarter an hour, chatting about their plans for the summer break and how the end of semester is going for both of them. The girl found out that Adam will be staying for a summer semester. She was excited that he will stay half the summer...
“So Julie… what are u doing this break?”
“I will be interning for the entire three month of the vacation… I am really looking forward! I think it would be awesome…”
Content by her words he slid he palm over her arm while saying “good luck honey it will be a lot of work”
Adam found out that Julie was going nowhere in the break and that she will be having a summer internship. He was happy that he will be hanging out with her while he is studying in the summer, and happier to understand that she is going to be working the whole break and won’t have much time to meet other boys while he is away. Turns out that Adam is the jealous type and he really does not like his girl contacting other boys, but Julie could not tell by the time.
Adam was a very selfish person. He always enjoyed being in control of all the elements and people in his life. He was certainly wise enough to do so and he has always educated himself with human psychology books. He was also a very charismatic character, and he used his charisma with his education to direct other people where he wanted. This way he was in power of all the elements in his life...
And while not knowing it Julie was one of them....
