While driving I searched my brain to find connections with my friends, I hated hunting alone, it was always better to have some company. I despised hunting alone, as sometimes the temptations take over me so having the others around helps me control my urges. All of us suffer the same intensity of urges that is why we try our best to stick together while hunting. The last thing we need is to attract human attention. Usually humans have a high tendency of causing problems and last time one of us went public it did not end well, neither for us nor them. Therefore it would be wise that we keep a low profile in our hunting activities, of course that does not mean that we get to miss out on all the fun. We do all the fun stuff that satisfies us both physically and emotionally but only once a month…
But lately I have been getting better at controlling myself, dealing with them every day gets me stronger. Now I can resist most of my urges while I am in public but not while feeding. As when you feed you reach a stage of greed insanity. If the greed conquests any of us, a village can vanish in one night. At times it is impossible to pull out my fangs, just picturing the warm red liquid climbing up my fangs and finding its way through my mouth all the way to slide down my cold dry throat. Oh no! I am already aroused… but, my buddies n me, we help each other to pass all those feelings while not holding on any of them. When I am with my buddies I can take human blood while feeling safe from my inducement.
Also we had an agreement for dinner tonight. We had a get together at least once a week. It meant that I could have human blood about four times a month, of course that was great but the sad news was that I cannot have fun four times only once a month. Feeding is not fun it is essential. Fun is very different, sadly tonight we were just going to feed only. Two more weeks left before fun outing…
While searching a link in my brain to communicate with my companions…
“Hey guys!”
“Adam!” replied Aeron with a tipsy laughter “Did you get rid of the chic?”
Aeron was always the kind of person to annoy the hell out of me. He really had a thing for touching on sensitive tops. He was tall, a lot taller than me but with my Afro I did not look very short. He was a blond head and he had light blue eyes. His eyes always manage to hide the truth; he actually had a poker face on all the time, although we have been friends for centuries I can never read him. He is still impossible to understand. Yet I believe that beneath all his arrogance, he has a tremendously soft spot.
He had an English nose and thin lips, almost non-existent. He was well built and usually liked to dress in classic items. Usually he was dressed in his tux, even when we went hiking; our group used to find him creepy at first but we eventually let go of the matter. His favorite color was black, I am not sure why, but he got dressed in fully black outfits all the time. Maybe he did not like to see himself as a murderer as blood spills do not usually show on black clothing.
“Adam! Are you ready for dinner?” Jasper‘s voice echoed in my head interrupting my thoughts.
Responding I said “Yes Jasper, and about the chic Aeron please don’t mention it. Have you all heard from Ash?”
“I am on with you all, so where are we meeting?” Finally Ash spoke.
Great now all of us are ready. It was just the four of us, in the past we used to be a lot more but many arguments occurred so we split up in little groups. This was our group the four of us understood each other well, and we shared similar values. That was the reason why we have been together since the split up, centuries ago. We still meet the others but occasionally.
“Where we are meeting depends on what we will be having for dinner, so what do you all want to feed on tonight?” I asked
“I want an Italian chic!” Aeron shouted in excitement!
