"Mettaton!! Where were you?!"
"Huh? Oh hello Alphys dear. No need to worry darling, I was just saying a quick hello to my dear cousin." The scientist breathed heavily and closed her eyes. "You know that wasn't very quick. You were gone for 2 hours. I-I was worried....." She blushed and looked down, embarrassed by her own words. Her creation stared at her and patted her head. "Nothing will happen dearie. You built me after all." He gave her a smile, in which she returned. But something still nagged her in the back of her mind. She was still scared. "Of course. Would you....like to....sleep?" Mettaton rolled his eyes. "I guess if you could call it that. Sure darling." Alphys grabbed his hand and led him to a door. "Close your eyes." He gasped. "Oooh! A surprise?! For me?!" She nodded. He quickly shut them and waited eagerly. Oh what could it be?!
