Mommy Alphys (Completed Story)

Chapter 4

Undyne slipped her heavy battle armor on and gave Pap a hug. "Where are you going Undyne?" She smiled at the skeleton with her sharp teeth. "To visit Alphys. I'm gonna surprise her today." She started to walk to the riverman...or was it a woman? No one was really sure. "Wait! Allow me, the great papyrus, to tag along with you!" Undyne turned to face her bestfriend. That was suspicious. He usually didn't come with her when she wanted to surprise the doctor. He even told her himself that he didn't want to get in the way of them seeing each other whenever they could. Did he just miss Alphys or something? She didn't mind if he tagged along but she had a suspicious feeling and she could see his face getting flustered. The great papyrus was nervous? Oh this was too good. "Surrre Pap. But what's the reason?" He looked down for a moment but just as fast as he looked down he focussed on her again. She almost missed it. "The great Papyrus wants to see Alphys again. It's been awhile you know?" His sentence was said too fast. She shrugged her shoulders and motioned for him to follow her to the river. The skeleton eagerly followed after his friend. "Hello. Tra la la la la. Coming aboard?" The river....person...was really weird and only wore a cloak that hid it's face and body. Boy would Undyne love to know who was under there, or what was under there. But she respected monsters. "Yep! To Hotland please." The thing nodded and waited for the both of them to get on the boat."To Hotland then." As they started moving Undyne took a look at her pal from the corner of her eye.  She thought he looked nervous before but he looked even more nervous. He was twiddling his thumbs and staring at his reflection in the water next to him, facing away from her. And if she wasn't mistaken, he was blushing. Was he worried about something? Undyne lightly put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey uh, Paps? You alright there?" The skeleton was startled and turned to face her. "Y-yeah! I'm just so excited to see Meta- Alphys!" He 'coughed' and smiled at her. She wasn't falling for it. Now she understood why he wasn't acting like himself. She leaned in close and poked his chest with a smirk. "What was that Paps? I could have sworn you said Mettaton." The skeleton's cheekbones turned a bright shade of red. "I-I think you m-misheard me Undyne. I s-said Alphys." The warrior shook her head. "No no. You started to say Mettaton's name." She gasped in fake shock. "Do you.....LIKE him? Huh Papyrus? Do ya? Do ya?!" She was now tickling him. "Ah! U-undyne n-no stop!" He was laughing uncontrollably despite his commands. They shook the boat, making the river person hold on for dear life but excited. It loved for its boat to go fast! "Yaaaay!! Let's go faster!" The thing sped it up and soon they were pratically flying through the underground. "Woah! Yeah!!!" Undyne stood up and waved her arms around. Papyrus stood with her and did the same as if they were on a rollercoaster. These were the things that they enjoyed together. Soon they made it to Hotland. "Goodbye! And thank you again!" Papyrus called out to them. The river person waved and sped off, back to snowdin. Undyne walked towards Alphys' lab and elbowed the skeleton. He really hadn't answered her question yet. "Yes?" He asked. "You still haven't told me." She sang the words like a tune. He blushed again and started running up ahead. "Hey! Paaaaps!!!" She laughed and ran after him in her heavy suit of armor, slipping her helmet on because of the heat. "Papyrus!"

(A/N: I've realized that I made a stupid ass mistake while writing this. Undyne's armor thing in Hotland. I don't know what the hell I was thinking and it doesn't make sense so just pretend that Alphys built it differently so it keeps her cool inside alright? I'm too lazy to change it. Sorry.)
