Mettaton and Alphys were still asleep. They were a tangled mess of sheets, legs and arms on the bed. Neither of them knew who was coming to visit or that they were going to get visitors in the first place. It was currently 10:11am. Undyne was ahead of Papyrus. So what if she cheated by pushing him out of the way playfully? She could see the doctors lab and quickened the pace. "Hey!" The skeleton ran faster, finally catching up to her at the huge metal door that she stood in front of. "Took ya long enough." She said this while hitting his back, making him stumble a bit. He raised his gloved fist and made a move to knock but the fish stopped him by grabbing his boney wrist. "This is a surprise remember? I have a key." She showed him the golden object and slipped it inside the key hole. He stared in awe. "You sure are good at surprises Undyne!" He said a little too loudly. "Shhh, Papyrus! Come on." The skeleton covered his mouth and quietly stepped inside as his friend started to take off the armor. Alphys had made it cool in her home for Undyne specifically so that she didn't always have to have her heavy battle armor on. She was the most caring monster that the fish had ever met. But of course Papyrus was the same way too. It was dark inside. That was strange, the doctor would usually be doing work right about now. Was she still asleep? Undyne hummed to herself and flipped the light switch. As she looked around she noticed that the yellow dinosaur was no where insight. "Papyrus?" She saw him trying to go upstairs while blushing a fierce red again. "Pap, what are you doing?" The skeleton cleared his throat and stopped in his tracks. "J-just ch-ch-checking to see if A-Alphys is upstairs." He was stuttering again. She knew what that meant. "Mmm hmmm. Surrrre you aaaare." The warrior walked closer to him and leaned on his shoulder. "Are you trying to find Mettaton? Are you nervous? Huh? Huh?" She poked him again. And again he laughed uncontrollably. "N-No! Nyeh he he!!! U-undyne!" She laughed too. It was contagious. "Tell meee. Tell me Papy! I know you like him!!" At this moment they were both making too much noise. "I-I can't!" He screamed. "Yeeesss you can. Now tell me! I'll stop if you do." She took her hands away and waited for him to catch his breath. "O-okay. I....I don't want you to make fun of me...." The fish rolled her eyes. "I already think your a dork so you might as well tell me." He looked at her. "Am I the greatest dork at least?" She started to laugh again. "The greatest Paps! Now tell me please. I won't make fun." He sighed and twiddled his thumbs again. "Okay....Yes. I like Mettaton. But not because he's a star. It's because.....he's so kind and inspirational. Seeing him on stage being so passionate about what he does and how he treats his fans....wowie." He whispered the last part and looked ahead, staring at nothing in particular. Undyne blinked. He was lost in thought. She raised an eyebrow and waved her hand in front of his boney face. "Um Paps? Paps? Papyrus?" The skeleton sighed and stared at her in a weird way that made her feel very uncomfortable. His 'eyes' stared at hers and he had a dopey look on his face. "Yes my beautiful Mettaton?" 'What the hell?!' She thought. "PAPYRUS!!" She smacked the back of his skull hard. "H-huh? Oh! Undyne? That hurt....." He rubbed his head. "Yoy were daydreaming about him weren't you? ya creep." He blushed. "The great Papyrus will answer honestly to his friend. Yes I was." She sighed and shook her head. "What am I going to do with you Paps?"
