Napstablook moved around his home in search of lettuce for his pet snail. He dug inside the fridge, pulling out a ghost sandwich. "This won't do." He placed it back and grabbed a piece of tomato instead. "You can eat this Snaily." He wasn't very good with names. The ghost floated over and fed the fruit to it, happy that he could make a creature feel happy too. "There There. We'll race later okay? Rest up." He left him on the counter and moved to his turn table, trying out different beats. He wanted to impress Mettaton with his work. He finally got his cousin back and wasn't planning on letting him get away again. He missed him too much. Napstablook turned the records and bobbed his head to the music. It sounded perfect with the keyboard playing in the background. He turned another record and pushed the volume to max on his headphones. There was an eerie sound to the music. Mettaton would like it. Mettaton liked anything he made up. He genuinely did. "Blooky?" Napstablook stopped and paused the music. He listened for the sound again just to see if what he heard was real. "Blooky? Blooks?" There was a frantic knocking and the jiggling of the doorknob. He knew that voice! The ghost floated over to the door and opened it, coming face to face with his cousin. "Mettaton!" He hugged the robot who had a look of relief on his face. "Blooky. I was worried darling. You didn't answer the first time like you usually do." He dragged the star inside, closing the door behind them. "I'm in the middle of making a song for you. Wanna hear it?" He didn't wait for answer as he put his headphones on Mettaton's head and turned the music on, bouncing around because he was excited to show his work. But his mind was elsewhere. Papyrus had decided to go home to take a small nap. Or at least that's what he said. He gave the robot his number with a blush and stutter, making him laugh at how cute he was. He told him that when he was done resting he'd call to check up on him. Mettaton agreed and watched as the skeleton left to go home back in Snowdin. They had waved awkwardly at one another and smiled. Neither of them wanted to leave. Hopefully he didn't want to go home and 'rest' because of their touchy conversation from earlier. Was it an excuse to get away from him? He hoped not. "You don't like my music do you? Oh I'm sorry! I just wanted to impress you....I failed." Mettaton came back to reality. "What? No you didn't. I'm sorry Blooky come here." The robot held out his metal arms for the small monster. Nabstablook slowly made his way over and smiled when his cousin squeezed him. "I was just thinking about something. I met this skeleton named Papyrus. He has such a nice name. But anyway, he's a fan of mine but I didn't know who he was before. He's so sweet and innocent. Oh my gosh! He knew things about me that not many people do. Personal things that only you and Alphys would probably know. But what stood out the most about what he said is how I'm such a caring person. My personality. What I do for others and how much it means to them and himself. Papyrus is too kind. Kinda dorky but it's cute! He was nervoys at first. But......then he told me that he did something in the past that he's ashamed of. It sounded horrible. I told him that he didn't have to tell me. You should have seen his face when he mentioned it. You would never think that Papyrus out of all people would do a horrible thing. I just want to know what he did that was so bad ya know?" Napstablook was listening carefully to everything that Mettaton said. He himself didn't know who the skeleton was but the name sounded familiar. "Are you okay? Where is he now?" He asked, looking up at his cousin's face. It seemed that the robot got lost in thought again. He placed the headphones on the ghost head. "Back home. Said he needed to take a nap. But I got his number and he has mine. He said he'll call me later. Do you think it was a mistake to give my fan my number?" The ghosts eyes sparkled. "Is that your boyfriend?" Mettaton blushed hard. "Wh-what?! NO! Why would you ask that Blooky?" Napstablook leaned in closer, purposely avoiding the question he asked. "Because you gave him your number. I just thought.....I thought that that made him your boyfriend. You talked about him like you had a crush or something. I'm wrong aren't I? Did I upset you?" The robot was shocked and rubbed Napstablook's back. "No darling you didn't but....I-I have to tell you something....."
