Mommy Alphys (Completed Story)

Chapter 23

"How do you think he's doing? Should I check up on him? Would that be invading too much? Think he's home? I'm gonna call." The fish shook her head. "Alphys, Alphys, Alphys. Shhhh it's fine. Don't think about it too much jeez. He's a robot. He can take care of himself." Undyne patted the scientist's back in comfort. "But that's exactly why I should be worried! What if he steps in a puddle and his circuits get wet? I won't be there to help! Or wh-what if he falls at the end of a cliff?! What if-!" The fish kissed her girlfriend's lips in order for her to stop rambling. It worked as the dinosaur blushed and started to shake uncontrollably. "Wh-what was th-that for?" The room was hot."Well how else was I going to get you to shut it? Look, If it makes you feel better than call him to see what he's doing. He's probably at home anyway or with Papyrus still." She casually shrugged like it was no big deal. "Y-your right. Maybe I'm just overreacting." Alphys took a deep breath and dialed her son's number, placing the phone to her ear. She waited as it rang a few times. "Mommy darling! Are you still at Undyne's house?" She sighed deeply and closed her eyes in relief. Her boy was alright. "Mettaton. Thank God your okay. And yes I'm still here. Do you need me or something? Where are you?" Her creation chuckled at his mother's words. "I'm fine Ma. Just sitting here with Papyrus at The Waterfalls. He.....he asked me on a date!" He whispered the last part fast. His voice held excitement in it. "R-really? Wow! Um....are you guys on th-the date right now? Am I- Am I interrupting?!" She bit her lip."Just a tad bit dear. But I have to go now. I'll see you back home. Oh! And tell Undyne that she's an absolute mess. Bye!" The line went dead as he hung up. Alphys put the phone down and looked from the corner of her eye at the warrior. She knew that she heard what was said. The whole conversation. "What did that little brat say?" Her words came out slow and menacing, scaring the small woman a bit. Alphys twiddled her thumbs and brought her tail close to her face, chewing on the tip. "H-he said that....um....him and Papyrus are on a date! Isn't that so Kawaii?!" Undyne's face was blank. "That's not what I'm talking about. He called me an absolute mess. Just wait and see. I'll get him back. But Paps and him? I knew it was gonna happen from the start. That skeleton's had a huge crush on your machine since he started his career. It actually distracted him for a while with....well you know." The dinosaur nodded sadly. "Yeah.....I feel bad for not telling Mettaton about it yet. I mean we all know so I think he should too. He was still a ghost when it happened though. Do you- Do you think that Papyrus will tell him on his own?" Undyne's eyebrows furrowed as she thought about it, crushing an empty soda can in her fist. She didn't really like the stuff anyway to begin with. Didn't know why she kept it in the fridge in the first place, but it was the only thing to drink for now until she gets more tea. "Maybe. I don't know. Sometimes that crazy skeleton surprises me." She wrapped her arms around her girlfriend and pulled her close, making Alphys' heart skip a beat. "O-oh. Right.....h-hey um....do you wanna hear what their ship name is?" The fish snorted. "Ship name? Your such a dork." She leaned in and kissed the scientist's nose. "Sure. What is it?" "I-its Papyton. Isn't it so kawaii?" Undyne chuckled. "That sounds so silly. What's ours? I know you have one for us. Don't you?" Alphys didn't deny it as she blushed. "Y-yes. It's um....Alphyne." The fish nodded and narrowed her yellow eyes. "Alphyne. Not bad. I'd say its Kawaii even." She squeezed her side and brought the small monster on her lap. "Undyne?" The warrior looked down at her girlfriend's large brown eyes. The dinosaur pecked her lips and quickly focused her gaze on the tv of Undyne's room. The only sound heard was the voices of the anime characters in the show. The fish was shocked but also.....turned on. 'We are on my bed.....maybe.....no stop! Get your head out of the gutter. That's not gonna happen any time soon. You guys are still on second base....' Alphys swallowed a lump in her throat as the loudest thing in the room was her own heartbeat. She slowly started to sweat. 'Was I....was I too forward or something? She kissses me all the time but I never did it first before.' The scientist tried to ease her way off the other's lap and back to her spot next to her. Undyne realized what she was doing and tightened her strong arms around her girlfriend's waist. "Don't go anywhere." She leaned down and pulled her close, kissing her hard and passionately. Whenever they did something like this, it never stopped Alphys' blushing and nervousness. She wagged her tail in delight and pressed her lips against her girlfriend's. 'I'll never grow tired of this.'
