Chapter 3

Alphys gasped and looked deeply into her creations pink bright eyes. He still held her. The doctor smiled at him. "Your welcome Mettaton." He let her down and turned to go in his brand new closet. She stared after him, wondering what he was going to do next? Not much was in the closet but a few shirts that she made herself. Pink of course. He stopped in the doorway and turned around to look at her. "I'm going to change. Gonna stay there darling?" The dinosaur blushed hard and walked out. The star chuckled to himself and put a pajama shirt that had his name across it. (A/N:Yes he put on a shirt. Leave me alone!!!) Hesitantly he started to take off his hot pink boots and put them on the shelf in his closet. He touched them one last time before moving to his bed. It was perfect. He hadn't slept in a bed for a long time.....since he left blooky. No. Everything was better now. He knew he made mistakes in the past but things were different now. He fixed his relationships and fixed his selfishness. That wasn't him anymore. He took a deep breath and carefully took the blanket off and slipped inside the covers. Wow. This is what he missed. Mettaton blushed (A/N:yes. He can blush. Sue me!!) bright red and curled up in a ball. Damn. He can't believe he was about to do this. But Alphys saw him as her son? The thought made him smile. He hadn't had a mother before. Ghost parents don't exist. Clearing his throat he called out, "Alphys!!" The dinosaur heard him from her desk and quickly went to go see what was the matter. Was something imperfect about his room? Hopefully not. Hopefully.....she didn't mess something else up......
"Yes Mettaton? Oh!" She hadn't meant to say the last part aloud but just seeing her creation curled up in his bed made her smile. It was so....so kawaii!! She thought. The robot raised an eyebrow at her shock. "What?" He asked while blushing behind his covers. "O-oh! I-its just th-that....well.....YOUR JUST SO KAWAII!" Yes she screamed the last part. The doctor couldn't help it! Anime was her passion and she knew a couple words. If they were in an anime that's the word she would surley use in this situation. She got lost in thought as she waged her tail in delight. "Um....Alphys darling? What did you just call me?" He seemed rather offended. She wasn't surprised though. He didn't care for anime like she did. So of course he hadn't understood what she meant by that. "U-um....kawaii. I-It means....cute o-or adorable." Mettaton blushed even harder. "Thank you darling. Hey Alphys dear...." She walked to the side of his pink bed and smiled to make him more comfortable. "I was wondering if you would like to....sleep in here with me? Just for tonight?" The yellow nervous dinosaurs eyes widened. Mettaton quickly changed his wording. "I mean of course you have to sleep on this very comfortable bed doc. You did all this after all. Why not have the best?" She knew what he was doing but decided to play along. "O-okay. S-sure. Let me just p-put on my pj's." She hurriedly went to her 'room' and changed into her pajamas. The doctor came back. The star looked up and made a face. "Really darling? Mew Mew Kissy Cutie pj's?" He should have known. It was her favorite childish little cartoon or whatever you called it. "Y-yes! It's the best thing in the world! You should watch it with me sometime." She said as she slipped next to her creation. It was dark now. Alphys turned off the lights before she laid down. But they both could see one another's eyes. Mettaton wrapped his metal arms around her body and held her close to him. It made him feel secure and protected. Although he was the killing machine. He could feel Alphys' body stiffen as he laid he head on her shoulder and closed his eyes. Soon sleep followed him. The doctor started to relax when she could hear Mettaton's light snoring. She kissed his head and held him back. "I've got you." She whispered.
