Epilogue

"Case Dismissed" The words the I've been wanting to hear throughout the session.

My client was so happy about the decision made by the court. They deserve the decision anyway and I've worked hard for it.

"You're the best attorney! Thank you for everything you deserve that title! " I shyly smiled and waved goodbye. I still have some cases to work on.

I pursued my Law course in a university here in Manila and right after passing my bar exam I went to states to take my masters there in Legal contracts. 8 years just passed like 8 seconds and I'm still overwhelmed with how I am right now.

I got into my car and went directly to my office, I'm working as a public and at the same time a consultant in legal affairs of my clients. Usually,  I take on contract agreements and legalities of businesses.

"yup, on my way" sagot ko sa secretary ko.  hindi ko pa naman nakakalimutan mag tagalog nadala lang ng 2 years ko sa States kaya ganito. Mom and Dad retired from their work and passed it to my eldest sibling perp they still oversee sa company. I was interested in staying, but I don't see myself serving other nationalities.

During my college years, it was really challenging dahil literal kang magkakabisa ng libro. Pahirap din ito ng pahirap kaya when I was in my last year in law, nakalimutan ko yata na ang "social life" but hard work does really pay off well dahil one time take lang ako ng bar exam.

I did have new found friends,  love interests and gala serye but nagawa ko lang yung nung 1st year ko. I was still able to communicate with my friends including him. He was busy too dahil sa dami ng plates and floor plan na ginagawa niya. You see, updated kami noon sa isa't isa but we stopped communicating nung pumasok na ang third year namin.

Parehas kaming nag karoon ng relationship during our college years and we would talk about that lalo na pag may problem and madalas siya yun dahil halos wala siyang time sa gf nya. Ako naman Rico was my classmate kay he understands kung di man kami makapag bonding. Pero parehas din kaming na "single zoned" dahil ung gf niya di na ata kinaya yung walang bonding time. Kami naman ni Rico both accepted the fact that we were not meant to be hindi dahil may iba kaming gusto,basta we both felt na hindi kami ang ending ng isa't isa. Pero we still became good friends and very good colleagues dahil until now partners kami when it comes to consulting nag specialize kasi siya sa brokerage and mortgage agreements.

Until now I haven't seen the sign I was waitinfg for. Ewan ko lang if Daniel made one kasi hindi ko rin alam kung anung pumasok sa isip ko at ganun pa ang ginawa ko.

The last news I heard about him is he graduated summa cum laude and he was the top notcher for the licensure exam. Expected ko na yun,  because he's like a brain formed into a human. Almost three years narin kaming walang communication, kamusta na kaya yung mokong na yun?

I arrived in the office at nakita ko nanaman ang napagandang scenery sa office ko ang bulubundukin ng papeles. Well I was already expecting yan because of new clients, i'm already planning on transferring to a bigger office and open as a firm para naman di ganun kasakit ang workload.

Siguro 1am na ng natapos ko yung kalahati ng papers sa table. I was driving to my condo near my office when I saw someone really familiar pass by kaso nung titingin na ako ulit nag go naman ang traffic light.

Sunday!  Yes pahinga ako today kahit na panigurado may mga tatawag. Usually I go out with my friends by this day pero di ko alam bakit nag dridrive ako ngayon papunta ng school namin ni D. Until now din kasi I never got the chance to go sa school to pick up my yearbook.
