: Drake's POV:

i was suppose to go to mall today to buy new clothes, for a guy it seems to be not normal in being oozy in clothes, but the only reason why i am like this is for Elaine.

i was starting to drive, yes i can already drive since i'm already seventeen, then Elaine called.

she said that we were going again to some party again which i'm sure is requested by  mom, i don't know what to wear so i went to the mall quickly and bought a semi-formal  clothes..

as i parked infront of Elaine's house, i noticed that her mom was there talking to the phone, it seems that she was having an argument with the caller.

i walked and when she saw me, she excused  herself and turned off the phone.

"mom, is everything alright?"

"yeah, nothing to worry, did Elaine told you that we'll be going to her bestfriend's house?

what?!!! linnie didn't mention this, and why did she accepted it? it took a while before she moved on from what happened with her and Daniel, is she even ready to see that guy?

"uhmm.. hindi po she was also  not sure  kung saan daw po ang venue"

" ganun ba? i know their not in good terms, that's why i had an argument with her dad, di naman kadi sinabi saakin that family pala ni Daniel ang bago naming ka venture  sa business"

" don'y worry po, i'm  with her naman po, if ever things don't go well iuuwi ko na lang po agad si Elaine"

"thank you very  much hijo, i'm lucky that my daughter had a guy like you, she's really sensitive when it comes to this kind of situation, and she really needs someone to support her.."

"thank you din po for letting me be part of her life, i will always cherish and secure her until i can"

her mom is really supportive since the  day me and elaine were in aing  relationship, even though medyo mahigpit sa time ang mom ni elaine naiintindihan ko naman

" oh sha hijo, sunduin  mo na sa kwarto si Elaine, afternoon party kasi until dinner ang party, mauuna na kami ng driver, you bring her with, just drive carefully okay"

her mom rode the car and agad din  itong umalis, pumasok na ako sa loob and went to her room, i knocked there was no reply, maybe she's in the bathroom

"elaine? its me, can i come in?"

there was still no reply but i heard  a sob, is she crying? i tried to open the door, and it was not locked, i saw her in her bed hugging her pillow and she was crying.

i ran to her bed and pulled her for a hug.

then she started talking.

"bakit ganun, akala ko okay na, akala ko kaya ko na, eh bakit *sob* marinig *sob* ko lang ang *sob* pangalan niya nanlalambot ako"

"hey it's okay for you to feel that way it's  normal, no one could easily forget things, even me, it's much better na ganyan  unlike being indenial that you're still hurt"

" eh kasi naman *sob*, bakit kailangan *sob* siya pa, pamilya niya pa eh marami namang iba jan"

"even your mom was surprised about this"

she looked at me like how-did-i-know-about-that?

"she was having a conversation with your dad kanina, saying na bakit ngayon lang sinabi sa kanya yung about sa bago nilang partner, and besides Elaine it's pure business nothing personal, and parents niya and parents mo ang magka deal so you don't have to be worried"
