(y/n)'s POV

Misa and I left the building as quickly as we could, because who knows what person will see us and ask us questions. We walked through the busy sidewalks until we came across a convenient store.

"This store's pregnancy tests are SUPER accurate, trust me!" Misa said.

"How do you know? Did you take-"

"No!" She cut me off, "I know people who used the tests here."

Those people are....?

"I... Guess I'll take your word for it then, but I'll have to go to a doctor anyway." I said as we walked in.

It felt so awkward for me to go get a pregnancy test... I didn't want people to question me.. When I see Lawliet, I'm going to smack him... But, I guess it's not a bad thing either. We came across the pregnancy tests, and Misa picked one and handed it to me.

"Now, let's go!" She said as she dragged me to the cashier.

"Hello!" A young man greets me from behind the counter.

"Um.. Hi. Just this please." I said as I placed the test on the counter.

I quickly scavenged through my pockets, but kept my hands in them.

"Oh! Which one of you ladies are taking this?" He asked as he scanned the price bar and looked at Misa, "You?"

I took all I had to hold back my laugh when I saw Misa's face.

"No! Her!" Misa said as she pointed to me.

"Uhhh..."

"Oh! That's unfortunate.." I heard him mutter.

I saw the price come up and I quickly paid the money. He put the test in a bag and gave it to me. I nodded my head as thanks and took the bag, and quickly dragged Misa out of the store with me.

"Are all the male cashiers like that?" I asked, obviously annoyed.

"Some of them, but it was kinda weird how he basically asked me if I was pregnant. I mean, you're the one who was paying for it!" Misa said, which made me laugh.

_

We returned to my room and we locked the door. I was about to take out the pregnancy test, until I remembered that I was still being monitored.

"Take out the-"

"Shh!!!" I shushed her, I then whispered in her ear, "There are cameras, they'll see the test if I take it out."

I then took her to the bathroom, and closed the door. I took out the test and placed the box on the counter.

"Misa?" I asked as I started to stare at the test.

"Yes?"

"What's going to happen if I am pregnant?"

"I-I don't know.." Was all I heard.

I continued to stare at the test, I then take the instructions out of the box and read them. Once I was done, I ask Misa to wait outside, which she did with no objections.

"Here it goes..." I muttered to myself.

_

I look at the test several minutes later, and what I saw made me shocked and made me feel faint. I hid the test in my sleeve and I walk out of the bathroom, only to find Misa sitting on my bed.

"Well? What are the results?" She asked me, almost jumping out of her seat.

"I'm pregnant.." I mutter.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you!!" Misa shouted as she got up and hugged me.

We then heard knocking on the door. I quickly pushed Misa away and I placed my finger on my lips. She understood what I wanted her to do, so she nodded in response. I made my way to the door and opened it, only to see the others fall to the floor, except Light, his father, and Lawliet.

"Why are you guys trying to eavesdrop?" I questioned the others that are on the floor.

I glared at them, making them shudder and stand up quickly.

"Y-You've been gone for a while! So we wanted to check on you two!!" Matsuda said, holding his hands up in defense.

"By the way," I look at Yagami-san, "Why was Misa so happy for you?"

I froze at the question, making me tighten my grip on the pregnancy test.

"Oh! Hitomi just beat my score on a phone game. I guess I couldn't contain my happiness because she was struggling a bit." Misa said as she stood beside me.

Thank you for not telling.

"Really? That's why you left? Because of a game?" Light asked, not believing it.

"Well, unless you wanted to know that I got my period then ok." I shrugged, giving a little smirk.

"WE DIDN'T NEED TO KNOW THAT!!!" All the guys shouted.

Misa and I looked at each other and smiled. Boys are so easy to fool sometimes.
