I swallowed, rubbing my eyes, clearing the tears. Baka... They're just from an anime! I shook my head violently, looking over at Alex, Chisana, and Sarah. They, too, looked sad.
I rubbed my eyes again with my arm, taking in a breath.
"Okay. Go check in with your parents and meet back here ASAP."
They nodded and we clasped hands. I looked back to see Natasha, Prussia, Zelda, Dastan, Perisa, and Preuss looking at us sadly, though my elder daughter gave me an encouraging smile. Kiana was next to Romano looking sad as she held my grandchild in her arms. I turned back around, a lump in my throat, and we all stepped through the barrier. As soon as I was completely through, my hands were empty, and I was in the woods again. I shook my head and took off, dashing through the woods to my house.
I burst through the door, panting as I darted down the hall.
My mom called after me. "Pack of wolves on your heals?"
I shook my head, grabbing a bag before stuffing it with food from the pantry. "No, are we going to do anything today?"
Mom was slow in replying. "I don't... Think... So..."
"Great! I'm going to stay outside for the rest of the day. I'm packing a sack lunch and dinner so don't expect me back till dark, okay?"
"Okay. Be careful out there."
"I will!" I finished stuffing the "meals" (in reality snacks since I was going to be in Hetalia) into my backpack and dashed out the door, grabbing my jacket that was on the chest by the door on my way. I ran back to the place. I didn't wait a second, and burst through the barrier.
I opened my eyes with a sigh, looking up to see Lanternfish.
Wait... Where did it go?!
I rushed to a window, pressing my palms against the glass as tears started to form in my eyes.
My jacket that I grabbed... It was Ouran High School Host Club, I thought, starting to cry. Gilbert... I'm sorry.
I straightened myself, looking back. My woods had vanished. I had to find someone or something to get out. I heaved a sigh and started running.
Objection: find Ouran.
Thankfully I was wearing jean shorts, a yellow tank top with a purple sleeveless hoodie over, and on my feet were white flip-flops. If I had been in the Ouran uniform, people would have given me looks if I had asked for directions for Ouran High School.
Wait... Won't they pick me up?
I slid to a halt as a limo pulled up and a window rolled down.
And there, in the window, was the Host Club.
"Welcome, poor commoner," Tamaki smiled. "Please, step in."
I sweat dropped, getting into the limo with the help of Tamaki, sitting next to Haruhi.
"Now, my princess, do you know where you are?" he asked smoothly.
"Yes, Tamaki." I pointed to each host as I named them. "Hunny-senpai, Mori-senpai, Haruhi (who is a girl), Kyoya, Hikaru, Kaoru."
"Uh-oh, you got it wrong!" they sang.
I popped Hikaru on the head. "Did not, Hikaru. You're hair is parted on your right, you're louder than Kaoru, you also have a higher voice than your twin. And..." I finished, sitting back in my seat. "I can recognize Haberkorn's voice anywhere."
Hikaru pouted, looking away while Kaoru chuckled. "Come on, now, Hikaru."
"And Kouru..."
He looked at me and I smiled. "You've got your traits, too. You're more reserved. You part your hair on your left. You follow along with what Hikaru says, while Hikaru leads." I smiled again. "That's not a bad thing. It's you."
