We went into the house so Kaoru could change and so I could put a pair of shorts on. When we went back out, the rest of the host club had joined us. We hurried to the beach and I sat on the towel, wanting to rest after having swam already.

"Nami-chan, Nami-chan! Come swim with us!" Honey giggled.

I smiled, shaking my head. "Not yet! I will in a bit, though."

Eri grabbed a boogie board that she somehow managed to snag out of no where and ran out towards the ocean.

"Yahoo!" she called, hitting the water and splashing around.

"Hey, Eri-chan! Don't steal all the fun!" Tamaki called, going out after her. Somehow he managed to find a water gun and aimed it at Eri. The white-haired girl's eyes widened and she went overboard.

For a while she didn't come back up. We were just starting to get worried when Tamaki let out a shriek and was dragged into the water, Eri popping up out of the ocean with a grin.

I rested my chin on my knees with a smile. I was glad that Eri was starting to see Tamaki as something more than a punching bag. She was starting to cut down in her sarcasm towards him, and the water fight had a good indication that they were getting along, finally. They were more alike than they let on. Like their looks of slight fear when Tamaki missed Eri and managed to hit Kaoru, dragging the twins into the fight. Some of us watched, amused; Kyoya was board.

Eventually Haruhi got hit so she jumped in on the fun, and when Honey got nailed he and Mori retaliated full force. Now it was just Kyoya and me, though the twins were planning something that involved me and water.

I turned my head away but kept my amethyst eyes on them. They took the bait and aimed a stream of water at me. As soon as they had raised their gun, however, I dove to the side and hopped up, running towards Kyoya. Not in the Damsel in Distress sort of way. Oh, no. I was running towards him with ill intent in mind.

I slid to a halt and turned to face the twins, grinning. They returned with grins of their own as they fired at me. Again I dove, and when I rolled back into the standing position I saw the water guns in the sand, Kaoru and Hikaru holding each other in fear, Kyoya's tablet being a bit damp, and Kyoya drenched and emitting a dark aura.

Mission accomplished.

Kyoya calmly stood and took off his shirt before wringing it out. When he was satisfied that he could get no more water out of the garment he quickly snapped it at the twins who shrieked and ran for the water. I giggled and ran from the vengeful Ootori myself, although I headed for the rocks. Like a little mountain goat I galloped up the way to a small little cliff ledge just wide enough for my toes to dangle over. The stone was cool against my back and bare feet since it was in shadow, but the coolness soon changed to heat when I shimmied my way around to the sun-facing side.

Kyoya stopped down below me, looking up at me with wide eyes. "Nami, could you get down, please?" he asked.

I grinned down at him. "Nope!" My hands felt for cracks and ledges in the stone, but I couldn't find any. It was just a smooth rock. Looking down I saw the waves crashing up against the cliff and frowned. I could just make out a hole in the rocks. If I jumped just right, not only could I scare the heavens out of Kyoya, but I would also be safe.

Let's find a different way down, Nami... I ordered myself, resuming my trek across the ledge. At one point it sloped uphill a good ways and I was forced to turn sideways and crouch in order to get up it. However, once I got past it and around the next corner I saw that the cliff made a rough three sided box, and the side directly across from me was climbable. I grinned and plotted out my hand and foot holds before leaping. When I hit the other wall I slipped as I scrambled to find the holds, but I didn't fall. I caught myself and slowly lowered myself down and around, out of sight of the others. Wedging myself in a bit of a corner, I listened for the others.
