Thinks were getting weirder and weirder... We were remembering more. All of us were. I never knew that Yuna, Faye, Akane, and all the other Host members were apart of another world. Nekozawa, too. After the club shut down one day, we all gathered for a meeting. Since I was the first to discover the meetings, Kyoya appointed me the director, which everyone else agreed to.
"Okay, so what are all your memories," I asked, passing out pens and fancy tablets that Eri and I bought earlier that day. "Let's wright them down and see if we can't find connections." I hurried over to the wall where I had tapped up a blank poster behind a curtain and wrote each person's name below their person that Eri had drawn earlier. "If we find one, I'll draw a line with their relationship on it."
"I guess I'll go first," Matt decided. He retold his dream to everyone and wrote it down in his tablet at the same time. I stood by the poster, waiting.
"Mattie and I share a similar memory," I explained when we were finished. "We both had a memory with a dark girl on a snowy island with a desert just on the other side of the river. We must both be friends with that girl, in one way or another."
Everyone nodded in agreement before I suddenly remembered something. "Oh! And the girl had the same last name as Mattie. And they weren't married, I could tell that much. Sister, then?"
Matt nodded. "Best bet. Odd, since we looked nothing alike."
"Hey, have you seen me and Ryuji?" Akane challenged.
"Point taken."
"Okay," I decided, getting things back on track. "And she called you 'Denmark,' right, Mattie?"
He nodded. I turned around and wrote "Denmark" under his icon before capping the pen. "Alright, who's next?"
Yuna rose her hand. "U-um... I think I may be that dark girl on the snowy island..."
"A connection!" I cheered, drawing a line between Matt and Yuna and writing "siblings" on it. I grinned over at Eri who was sitting peacefully beside Tamaki and Haruhi. They were the only ones who had not had the memories. She smiled back and drew an arc in the air with her fingers before pointing at me and Yuna.
Oh, right, friends, I reminded myself, giving my best friend a relieved look and doing the deed.
"I keep having a memory of a red-headed girl in a meadow... And that same girl on a ship," Nekozawa spoke up.
"What did she look like," Kyoya suddenly butted in.
The wizard thought for a moment before carefully answering. "Her skin was dark, like she was middle-eastern, but her hair was bright red, redder than Akane's. Her eyes were gold, though, so that still fits into where her skin places her to be. Oh, and on the ship she had long hair in a ponytail and in the meadow she had chin-length hair with a bunch of braids. Above her right eye she had a lock of hair that curled where it would probably interfere with her vision."
"I see her, too!" Kyoya exclaimed, suddenly getting excited. "I keep seeing her in my memories! It's a pain because..." He slowly went back to sit properly in his chair. "Because..." He was sat and was now looking at his hands. "Because, well... I think I was married to her..."
The room was silent, but I didn't cry. I was smiling. I knew the turmoil he had over his memories and me. But I knew it would all work out in the end.
"I have her in my memories, too," Yuna spoke gently. "I think I was her best friend."
"Same here," Akane added. "But not the best friend part. I think she lived in my house or something."
"I see her a lot, too," Faye smiled. "But just in passing memories. I guess she meant a lot to us, huh?"
