"Hey, wait for me!" I cried, hurrying after Eri. I tripped over my shoes and fell on the floor with a groan.

"That's what you get for running in a skirt..." a voice sighed, leaning down to help me up. When I was standing, I discovered that the owner of the voice was Yuna. She must have been helping the dormlady out since she was still staying with Mori.

"S-sorry, Kita-senpai..." I apologized, bowing before hurrying after my best friend.

It was the last weekend of summer vacation, and the Host Club was going out for the day to enjoy it. We were running a bit late (as usual), hence our running. I could practically hear Kyoya tisking...

Eri waited at the door and grabbed my wrist when I came close enough and tugged. I staggered a step or two, but caught my balence and hurried after her to the car. The boys were waiting for us in the limo.

"Finally," Kyoya murmured, shoving his glasses up.

I sighed, sitting down next to him. "Sorry, Kyo-chan..."

"What happened this time?" he asked.

"Eri hogged the bathroom so I couldn't shower..." I muttered, sending the snow-headed girl a death glare.

She flushed. "Well I'm sorry! It takes me longer to get ready!" she countered.

"Not usually..." I told her. "This time you decided to waste your time putting on make-up."

My how red her cheeks became!

"Listen here, you!" she nearly yelled at me. "Not everyone was born pretty! Some have to work for it!"

I took my chance. Turning to Tamaki I asked, "Is Eri pretty? You've seen her without make-up. Answer honestly."

Kyoya gave my hand a squeeze of approval.

All heads turned to the tomato impersonator to await his answer. His violet eyes darted to and fro as his hand covered his mouth.

So he thinks that she is very beautiful... If he didn't and just wanted to make her feel good, he would have just used one of his lines that he uses while he's hosting, I thought to myself.

He mumbled something under his breath, at which Eri punched him for it.

"Say it louder!"

(Louder mumble)

"Tamaki," Kyoya stated, his eyes looking out the window.

"You are a very pretty young lady..." we could finally hear. "...and make-up takes away from your natural beauty..."

Boom! insta-red Eri.

"Y-you're just saying that!" she announced, folding her arms across her chest and flipping her head away sassily.

"No, I really do mean it," Tamaki insisted, gaining confedence. "You are quite pretty."

Eri continued to insist that she wasn't while Tamaki insisted that she was for the remainder of the trip.

"Hey, Nami-chan!" Kaoru called.

I looked up to see him perched on a statue on the boardwalk. "Come on up! You can see for miles out into the ocean from here!"

I smiled and released Kyoya's hand to hurry to the twin's side. It was a bit difficult to climb up without showing anything, but eventually I got up onto the achor and looked out across the waves.

"Oh, wow!" I breathed. I really could see for miles! I wanted to get a better look, so I asked Kaoru for help up. The twin let me use him as a footrest like the kind gentleman that he was. I sat on the top and looked out across the waters as I swung my legs gently, careful to not hit one of my best friends.
