"Eri-chan!" I called, looking back from my window. "They're here!"
"Ack! Nonono!"
I giggled, grabbing my bag and sliding my feet into flip-flops before padding into the bathroom and check that my ribbon was still in my hair. Once I was happy that it wouldn't come out, I darted into her room where she was trying to cram her swimsuit into her already full bag and giggled.
"Um... Eri? You know we're only staying for the weekend, right...?"
She looked up at me with a slight glare. "Shut up and help me!"
I sighed and did as I was told. By the time it was zipped up, our door was being knocked on.
"You're on your own with that rock," I told her, grabbing my bag again and hurrying out the door. I opened it to reveal the host club, all in their casual attire.
"Hey, Nami-chan!" Hikaru grinned. "Ready?"
I smiled. "Hai. Eri? Are you coming?"
She nodded, lugging her dufflebag into view. "Yup! Let's go!"
The twins helped Eri with her bag while Kyoya snuck mine away from me. I protested, but he kept it out of my reach, informing me that a gentleman carried a lady's bag for her.
"And besides," he finished. "Why should you have to carry this, anyway?"
Because It's my bag... I thought hotly to myself. But I kept silent, silently fuming as I clutched my purse with both hands in front of me.
The drive was eventful to say the least. Evidently Eri was carsick and failed to inform us of the fact. Thankfully we were able to stop by a convenience store and grab a bottle of Ginger Ale for her to sip on and stop the sickness.
By the time we finally got there it was coming on to dusk. We put our things in our rooms before slipping out to have some tea on the porch since we couldn't go swimming until tomorrow.
"What a drag," Hikaru moaned. "Come all this way only to not go swimming."
Kaoru smiled. "We can go swimming tomorrow, right? So we just lost a day."
"Why didn't we fly up?" Eri asked. "We could have."
"Tamaki decided to drive up to be more like 'commoners'. When we have our summer trip we'll fly," Kyoya explained. "Which reminds me. Haruhi, Eri, Nami--Do you have passports?"
We all shook our heads.
"We'll have to change that, then," he stated, pushing up his glasses.
"Hey, when is our summer trip, anyway?" Haruhi asked. "And where are we going?"
"In the summer, obviously. And I was thinking Germany. How does that sound?" Tamaki asked.
"Sounds good to me," Eri agreed.
I nodded, smiling. Germany. I liked that.
Haruhi was beside herself. "I've never been anywhere outside of Japan before... I'm so excited! We had better start learning the language, though."
"Why?" the twins asked in unison.
"So then we can talk to he people in Germany?" Haruhi replied, confused.
"Why not use a translator?" Honey asked, clutching Usa-chan.
"Rich people..." Eri sighed, but then smiled. "What if we don't have our translator nearby? It should be fun to learn German, anyway."
I nodded, smiling. "Ja!"
They looked at me. I blinked. "Was?"
"What are you speaking?" Hikaru asked me. "It makes no sense."
