Zelda pranced about the room, her skirt twirling around her legs as she bounced from one book to the next.

"So many lovely stories to read~" she sang. "And yet, which do I choooooose~?"

"Just pick one already..." Junpei sighed, leaning against the door to the giant library.

"It has the be perfect!" Zelda insisted. "This is my once-in-a-lifetime chance to see my favorite book play before my very eyes!"

He smiled, an eyebrow raised. "Once, eh? You know I'll do this again and again for you, my love."

Zelda blushed modestly as she slid the ancient tome back into place. "Well, I want this first one to be perfect."

Junpei pushed off the door frame and made his way over to her. "And how would it be perfect?"

She stopped and thought for a bit. "It needs to be a love story... With a bit of adventure so then you really worry if they'll get together."

"So, Twilight?" he asked, a twinkle in his eye.

She gave him a sharp glare, at which he laughed.

"I kid, I kid," he grinned. "I actually know of a story like that."

Zelda perked. "Really?"

Junpei nodded with a smile. "Yes. Now come along, let's go to the theater..."

The show that they saw was Touch Not the Cat by Mary Stewert, and Zelda--who was not use to Gothic themes in the slightest and, in fact, was terrified of all things supernatural--spend most of the production burying her face into Junpei's shoulder out of fear, at which the Asian chuckled and pulled her closer.

When the play was over, Zelda gave Junpei a glare. "Give me a chick-flick and give it to me now."

He sighed with a smile. "Much Ado About Nothing it is..."

As if by magic, the Shakespeare play appeared on the stage, and the witty story began.

"Junpei, where are we going?" Zelda asked, smiling.

"I want to show you something," he told her, amused.

He lead her higher and higher up the tower, holding a magical ball of purple flame to light the way. Zelda began to be scared. The stairwell was growing darker and darker the deeper in the two went, and suddenly, memories of her brothers’ warnings came flooding into her mind.

What is he doing? she panicked. Where is he taking me?

“Just a bit farther,” Junpei reassured, turning around to smile at her.

“R-right…” she stammered, giving him a weak smile.

He faced forwards again. “It’ll lighten up in a bit.”

Sure enough, Zelda started seeing flecks of glowing purple on the steps. Fascinated, she watched them, her mind taken off of her supposed danger. Each step had a few more flakes than the last, and each step glowed a little more fully. Soon, the entire step was encased with the glowing light, and was sparkling merrily, like snow in the sunshine.

“Oh, wow…” she breathed. “It’s so beautiful…”

Junpei chuckled, the orb in his hand gone, now. They could see well enough in the glowing stairwell. “Almost there,” he told her, tugging her along. “Come on! I want to show you something!”

Zelda grinned at his eagerness. “What is it? Seeing this is good enough for me! You’ve filled my world with magic the moment you stepped into my life.”

Junpei blushed lightly, bringing a small patch of pink to his otherwise pale face. "This is better."

Zelda let out a giggle as she hiked up her skirts so she could run along with him. It wasn't long before they got to the door, and Junpei pressed his hand against the glowing surface.

"Come," he urged, smiling. "It won't open unless your hand is on it, as well."

Zelda, eyes bright, moved forward and laid her hand next to Junpei's. The door rumbled, then swung open to reveal a quaint little room. The bed was king-sized, with fresh satin sheets on. The stone walls had the first wildflowers scattered about, with another bunch in a vase on the table. Looking out the window, Zelda could see the brilliant night sky.

"Oh, Junpei..." she breathed, looking out. "Are we on the tallest point of your castle?"

Junpei nodded in reply when she turned around, and slowly walked to her side. "It is. You can see for miles up here." He sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I thought it would be the perfect place..."

"For?" Zelda hinted flirtatiously. "Just what do you have up your sleeve, little boy?"

Junpei chuckled and kissed her head before pulling away, and pulling her to face him as he dropped to one knee.

Zelda gasped, covering her mouth with her free hand while Junpei held the other.

"Zelda Beilschmidt," he started, smiling softly. "You are my sweetheart, my lover, you're my darling: My everything. Please, I would be honored if you would take this, and be my bride."

Out of his coat pocket came a black velvet box, and when he opened it, Zelda found a ring. The very same one she wanted to get, but didn't because Perisa wouldn't like it as much. The wonderful silver ring, crafted to become rose petals around the single amethyst jewel in the center.

"Oh, Junpei..." she breathed. "Yes, yes! Yes I will marry you!"

He smiled, slid the ring carefully onto her finger, stood, and gave her a slow kiss. He pulled away too soon for her liking, but she forgave him as she found herself suddenly under him on the bed.

I've found my Knight. I'm going to be married. I'm going to have children! All, with the man I love.

Short, but I wanted this to be it's own chapter.

BTW: "You are my sweetheart, my lover, you're my darling: My everything" is the little line that I made up for part of the song on the right. You'll know where it comes in. ^_^
