I'm going to be writing Natasha's dialog without an accent from now on because it's way too difficult, and she's going to be talking a lot after this. It will come back later on!

-----------------------------------

Natasha hurried into the world meeting after passing the play room filled with the nation's children from Ariani on down to Tiri. Along the way she met up with Yorgi who was frowning.

"What is it?" she asked, running her hands through her hair to try and get it back into place. The long thick locks had managed to get into a matted mass in her running.

"I should be asking you," he answered. "Where are the others?"

She shook her head. "I don't know. That's why I called you all here." She grabbed his hand. "Come on!"

They entered the conference room and sat down in their places. The meeting had it's usual rowdiness to it, but this time it wasn't Germany who brought things to order... It was Natasha.

"Ey! Klyanus'... YA budu shkuru tebe zhizn', yesli mne pridetsya! When you're all ready I can inform you why my brother and his children isn't here!" the oblast roared with unknown lung power. (Hey! I swear... I'll skin you alive if I have to!)

Ludwig leaned back and looked away, a bit irritated. Nali had her hands laced together in her lap, sitting prim and proper with her hair done up in an elegant bun. Kiana was looking at her step-aunt with a small scowl, Romano mirroring his wife.

Natasha took in a deep breath to calm herself before resuming her talking.

"Bruder mentioned something about looking for Anahi... he said that he would be gone for a little while and that I was to be in charge of the kids. But..."

"...We all blacked out..." Nali finished for her. "Gilbert must have left. But cannon characters can't do that, can they?"

"They can if the character is a person in their own right," Kadi explained. "But that doesn't explain why the kids left."

"I can't believe it..." Kylie murmured, shaking her head. "I totally cannot believe it... Those poor children..."

Everyone looked over at the Californian to see all the states but Alice as white as a sheet.

"But they'll have her, right? She'll get them through. There's bound to be places safer than where we were at."

"They're capable kids, right? They should be okay..."

"I sure hope that nothing comes their way..."

"They're the children of two powerful nations--they can't get hurt."

Other states put in their two cents on the situation and made the others more and more worried. Why did the states know where the kids were?

Wait a minute...

"Now hold a mo!" Natasha ordered, thumping both hands onto the table. "What's going on?!"

A new voice that wasn't usually heard at the meetings spoke up. "When one state is gone, all the states are gone. When one state is here, all the states are here... And the cities in them," a girl who looked much like Alice spoke up. "While we were waiting for Alice to come back, we were all put in a kind of 'holding world' to live. This world isn't the best, however, and we could've easily died if we didn't know what we were doing."

"And you think that this is where the kids went?" Nali verified.

She nodded. "I do believe so. There's nothing we can do, though. I don't even think that Mom's mansion has this world in it."
