Simple Things in Life

"Tell me what your doing on my territory." I growled .
He didn't speak , so I punched him . Not my hardest, I could do worse . " I'll ask it again. WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MY TERRITORY?! " I yelled , louder this time.
" We...we"
" Spit it out."
I was growing impatient .
" W.. we need your Luna . "
He needs what?!
My hands twitched . I needed to punch something . Knowing I couldn't punch him, I punched the wall beside me . Dusk and material came flying and a fist sized whole in the wall appeared .
" WHO IS YOUR LEADER ? "
He didn't speak until a few seconds later .
" Alpha Kane ."

I never heard the name before but whoever this is I will kill him .No hesitation. No doubts .

" WHERE CAN I FIND HIM?! " I yelled. " I .. I don't know Alpha . "
I punched him again, a red liquid falling down his face .
When he wouldn't say anything , I walked out of the cell .

" Get rid of him and don't spare any pain. "

Lilacs POV

"It says to put one cup of water into the mix and then.."

" No it doesn't . Look. It's watery now ."

" it's not watery ... "

" yes it is . "
Baking wasn't a good idea. Not for me and not for him, especially at 2am.

" Please hush I am trying to sleep and if you scream one more time I am liable to hurt both of you."
Jess walked in with a lazy look, pajamas on .

" Je.. "

" PLEASE shut up! " She put her hand up, silencing Levi. He backed away , hands in the air ." Good. " She fumbled back upstairs , her eyes hardly open.

When she was gone we laughed . And laughed . We couldn't stop. Can you blame us ? It was past midnight and we were fighting over how much water to put in the batter.

I instantly sobered up when I saw Stone's angry face . He looked as if steam coming out if his ears .
" Woah... why do you look like your fixing to murder someone . " Levi said .
And he did .

"What's wrong ? " I asked.
" Nothing is wrong . "
" Now that's a lie . "
" No it's not . "
" Yes.."
"I'm fine ! Okay? That's it so stop asking about it! It's none of your business  ! "

I flinched at his harsh tone .
Ouch.That stung .

His face softened , visibly showing his anger die down." Lilac... I'm sorry . I didn't mean to snap at you like that. "
" Don't apologize.Just tell me what's wrong . "
He ran his hand through his hair roughly .
" Nothing is wrong . " he said coldly .
" That's a lie . "

I gazed up into his eyes . " Tell me what's wrong . I thought you trusted me ? "

Stone looked at his brother as if telling him to leave . And he did .
" I do trust you, but this is something that is just my business . "

" Your business is my business . If you want me to be Luna you have to treat me like one ." I stood my ground . " I know . It's just some rouges bothering this pack . That's all. " He ran the back of his hand along my cheek.

I knew there was more to the story but I let it slide . He seemed like he didn't want to talk about it.

" I need something to get my mind off things . Let's go do something fun. " Fun? I never thought I'd hear that word come out of his mouth . Ever .

"Are you crazy? It's 2:00 am and besides don't you have Alpha duties to fulfill? "

" That's my point . Come on let's go ."

We didn't know where we were going when we hooped in the car . That's what made it exciting .

I turned the music up to full volume and windows rolled down . I stole a glance at Stone who had a huge grin on his face .
" what? "
" Your so weird . But my weirdo. "

I stuck my tongue out at him but he just laughed .
The cool wind in my air felt like I was flying . I wish I could capture the moment .

There was something about the sense of calmness in the dead of night . It felt like freedom.

He smiled at me and I knew he was enjoying the moment too.

Some simple things in life can make you feel so collected . Simple as driving down the road , windows down at midnight .

He intertwined our hands together , the other on the sterling wheel.

" We are getting in so much trouble when we get back . " I didn't care honestly . I just wanted to have this moment with him.

Gosh, we loved each other .
