There's A Beast In My Heart.
Vic's POV
I think that went well; we put on a great opening with my closest friends, and brothers, and finished by asking the most beautiful girl I've ever seen to be my girlfriend. Overall a pretty successful evening in my opinion. All I needed to do now was ask Kellin about that spare apartment for Austin, which will take around 15 minutes because they were currently doing their opening set. I hadn't even noticed Austin, Alan and Tino come and sit with us. "So Holly, how did you meet Vic with his busy schedule?" Austin laughed softly and I saw a look of fear wash her face before she tried to smile it away. "Family... complications? I guess you could put it that way" she replied, her words trailing off. I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze before I took over the conversation. "Yeah she's going to be staying with me" I shrugged, and I think they caught on with the situation. "Oh okay well, congratulations anyway" Austin said as he smiled and walked away. "Thanks" I smiled back, and slowly turned to look at Holly who was sat next to me, and she looked so miserable it scared me slightly. "Hey?" I said softly before I grabbed hold of both of her hands. She looked up at me and grimaced. "What's up" I asked pulling into a hug, and as a response she just shook her head and attempted a smile. It hurt me that she was upset this much and I couldn't stop it.
After a short while of us sitting here, her leaning into my side, Of mice & Men came over as it was almost time for them to switch with Sleeping with Sirens. "Is everything alright over here?" Phil asked and I nodded, allowing Holly to keep her face hidden in my side. I smiled at the guys and they smiled softly back before I rested my head on Holly's in an attempt to calm her down. "Thank you!" we heard from the stage, causing all the guys to huddle by the side of the stage ready to run on once the tech guys had swapped the Sleeping with Sirens stuff with the Of Mice & Men stuff. Kellin ran off followed by Jesse, Justin, Jack and Gabe and walked over to where we were sat. 'Is she alright' he mouthed and I made an attempt to shrug. I nudged her slightly and realised she had fallen asleep, and not in the best of moods; poor girl. "I need to carry her to the bus, let her sleep comfortably" I tried to whisper, and she stirred slightly but remained asleep. Kellin nodded and grabbed hold of Holly, gently picking her up to allow me to stand up and stretch slightly, before I took her out of Kellins arms and into my own; she was really light which worried me slightly but I was probably just being paranoid.
We got to the venue doors and before we had even got out I could hear girls screaming; they were probably the fans who couldn't get tickets to the show but still wanted to show up anyway to attempt to meet the bands. "Don't worry Vic, I got this" he winked at me. He walked outside and all I could hear through the door was more screaming before Kellin yelled "Alright! Please! Shut Up! I need everyone to be quiet when Vic comes out! Whoever can stay quiet, I will love you forever!" He opened the door and smiled at me, indicating for me to come out. All the 'fangirls' were practically jumping on the spot from excitement but surprisingly remained silent like Kellin had asked. Some of the fans glared at Holly, they obviously knew who she was, probably from twitter or something. We managed get over to the bus before Holly started stirring again; she seemed really worried, even in her sleep. I hurried her onto the bus even though it was the Of Mice & Men one but I was sure they wouldn't mind, after all, they were dropping us all off back at mine because the Sleeping with Sirens rental van was there; they weren't the opening act for all of the tour, only on selected dates. I laid her down on one of their sofa's at the back where we were originally sitting and text Austin letting him know where we were, knowing that his phone was probably either in their dressing room or on a box backstage.
Holly had been asleep for a few hours, and she had been mumbling stuff all throughout, but I was too scared to wake her up; what if it makes it worse? I was sat watching her in case she woke up when my phone started indicating I had received a text.
-Okay, we'll be back on the bus in a few minutes, just cooling down :)
Should I ask him if they could be quiet? I'd better not, this is their bus after all. A few minutes later they all crammed onto the bus but only Austin and Aaron came down towards where Holly and I were. They had just walked in to this area when Holly shot up making me jump. "Austin!" she yelled, worry lacing her voice. "What?" he asked as a response. "Not you" I said meekly as I shook my head, realising why she had been so miserable, tired and worried. "Come here" I said and she darted towards me, clinging onto me like her life depended on it. "It's alright Holly, nothing bad is going to happen to him" I said, brushing her hair with my fingers whilst she was laying in my lap. That reminds me, I still needed to ask Kellin about that apartment.
Holly's POV
"How could you leave me Holly? We were so close but you left me with those monsters! You mean, no, meant so much to me. Now, you're just a worthless bitch, I hate you so much, leaving me on my own with them, who would rather me be dead. Thats what you want too, isn't it!" Austin yelled at me. "No it's not true! I love you Austin and I'm sorry! Vic just wants to keep me safe, he's getting you a place to stay too! Please don't hate me, I need you, you're the only real family I have!" I shouted back crying. "You're no longer family to me you bitch! You broke me, or broke whatever was left of me... I hate you" he spat and that was it. He faded away, slowly drifting further away from me. "No Austin! Please don't leave me here! I love you!" I screamed back on my knees, crying at the fact I just lost my only real family.
"Austin!" I shouted, realising it was all just a nightmare. "What?" I heard, shooting my head in the direction that the voice came from, noticing Austin Carlile. How did I get here? Last thing I remember we were backstage. "Not you" Vic said, barely audible. "Come here" he continued and I quickly but carefully climbed from where I had been laying onto Vic's lap. "It's alright Holly, nothing bad is going to happen to him" he cooed, brushing his fingers through my hair. At that moment, Jaime, Mike, Tony, Kellin, Justin and Jesse came towards us laughing at something one of them had said. I hid my face so it looked like everything was alright. "You okay?" Mike asked and I nodded, attempting to pull a smile. "Just a nightmare" I said, laughing a little awkwardly. "Okay well next stop, Vic's house!" Austin yelled, receiving cheers from the guys. As everyone was walking out Vic carefully placed me next to him and reached out to grab Kellin, and he turned around smiling. "What's up?" he asked, that smile never leaving his face. "I have something serious to ask you" Vic asked, causing him to nod and take a seat opposite us.
"Okay so I explained the whole situation about Holly's family and stuff and I was wondering, you know that spare apartment you have across town? Well could her brother, Austin, stay there for a bit? Shes scared about leaving him with them" Vic asked, making me want to cry when he mentioned Austins name due to the nightmare I had, but I kept a brave face. "Of course! Anything you need" he said smiling at me. These guys are actually life savers. "Thank you!" I screamed, climbing out from where I was and throwing myself at Kellin. "You don't know how much this means to me" I whispered in his ear; I don't know why I whispered it, it was only us three in here. "Trust me, I do" he replied, and I felt the smile appear on his face. "Can I have my girlfriend back now please?" Vic asked whilst pouting slightly which caused Kellin and I to laugh. I walked back over to Vic and sat in his lap, smiling properly for the first time in what felt like forever.
We waved as the Of Mice & Men tour bus drove away in the darkness, which was followed by Jaime who was driving Mike and Tony home, leaving just me, Vic and the Sleeping with Sirens guys stood outside Vic's house. "Well, it's been fun but we've got to go. Text me if you need anything and Holly, I'll try and get the apartment sorted by tomorrow" Kellin said smiling at us. "Thanks again Kellin" I replied, hugging him once more before going back to Vic, grabbing hold of his arm. "See you later Vic" he winked and Vic nodded back before wrapping his arm round my shoulder as we walked inside.
The second we were in, Vic's instant reaction was to pull me into a tight hug. "I love you" he whispered, and held his breath, waiting to see my reaction. "I love you too Vic" I whispered back, and I felt him sigh with relief, and with that he pulled apart and planted a soft kiss on my lips. "So what do you want to do?" he asked. I could tell I was going to enjoy it here, with Vic.
