I'm So Sorry.

Jaime's POV

I stuck by Holly; not just because Vic had asked me to, but because she shouldn't have been left alone. It just wouldn't have been right. I was still a little confused as to why Vic didn't want to stay himself; he didn't even need a second to think about what was more important over his currently unconscious girlfriend or whatever came through on his phone. Surely it was something important. Vic was always worried about Holly, and he always looked after her like any person should be looked after; none of it was making sense. It was like he wasn't himself, and it was really noticeable; to me it was anyway.

It had been a while of myself being sat here, scrolling through random things on my phone before Holly began to stir. I was quick to allow all of my attention to go to her and check that she was okay. "Holly? Are you awake?" She rolled over and slowly opened her eyes which were quick to scan the room. "No Vic?" she questioned, although her tone suggested that this was what she was expecting. "Well, he was here, but he had to run off somewhere. Sorry." "Don't be Hime, it's not your fault" she smiled. She went to sit up, scrunching her face up in the process. "How're you feeling?" I asked automatically, knowing that she probably wasn't going to be feeling too great anyway. "Well, fine, I guess. I'm just a little disappointed that Vic isn't here. But it's fine, I got you to keep me company" she smiled meekly. "We'll manage without him" I joked back. She flashed me a quick smile before everything fell silent. "Hey, we still have a while before soundcheck, so how about we watch a film or something? Just take some time to not worry about things?" I laughed lightly. "That would be nice" she smiled back. So that was what we done for the rest of the day up until soundcheck; we sat at the back of the bus watching whatever films we could find.

Holly's POV

Jaime, Mike and myself began to make our way to the venue for souncheck after probably our sixth film; Mike had come to join us for the last two because there really isn't much else to do. "So Holly, Vic text me earlier saying you fell out of a tree?" Mike asked, playfully throwing an arm around my shoulder with quite a struggle due to the height difference between us. "Yeah, its no big deal. I feel alright now" I laughed back, nudging into his side. "Alright then. Oh yeah! Adam's going to be here tonight, he asked if he could photograph tonight's show and obviously we said yes, so you'll get to meet him" he continued. "Really? That's so cool!" I beamed, feeling some sort of happiness since Vic had slowly been slipping away. "Yeah, anyways, we should hurry up before Kevin kicks our asses" he continued, picking up the pace.

"Nice to meet you Holly. Will you be at sound check?" Adam asked, grabbing his camera from the table beside us. I looked up at the stage where Jaime and Vic were talking, although it looked like a rather heated conversation, but how was I to know? Vic glanced over for a brief second, giving me a look of what looked like regret, which only helped me make my mind up. "No, not today. Sorry, maybe another time, will you be here for any other shows?" "Yeah, I'll be tagging along for a little while" he smiled. "Okay, great! I'll catch up some other time then" I smiled. He pulled me into a hug before I walked off and headed towards the bus, receiving a few questionable looks from some of the crew, and Tony.

I remained on the bus for the duration of soundcheck, because I knew there was no chance of being followed. I just needed a little time to myself to be honest. Something was up with Vic, and whatever it was, I didn't like it. I never thought I could dislike the man who had save my life even in the slightest; what had come over him? "Holly?" someones faint voice called through the bus. Sound check should still be going, no one should be back here yet. "Uh, yeah?" Tony appeared with a soft smile, slowly walking down to where I was sat. "Just thought I'd come and see why you aren't at soundcheck" he questioned, although I only replied with a shrug. "Is it Vic?" Once again, I just shrugged. "Jaime had very strong words with him earlier, about how he's acting really distant, from everyone as well as you. Vic didn't really have anything to say though. Is this why you're in here?" I sighed before nodding slightly. " I just... I don't understand what's wrong with him. I'm finding it very hard to tolerate him right now." Tony nodded in agreement, sitting beside me cautiously. "Does no one know whats wrong with him?" I asked sadly. "Unfortunately not" he replied, throwing an arm over my shoulder in a comforting way, giving me the chance to lean into his side. "It's not long until the end of tour anyway, couple of weeks at the most, maybe he'll be better once its over?" he suggested, and that was the best I could hope for right now.
