I'm crying underwater.

Vic's POV

I woke up and noticed that Holly was still asleep, which I was actually happy about; it's likely that she won't get much sleep on the road, she's never tried sleeping on a tour bus before, and its a lot different than sleeping in a comfortable bed, but that's kind of obvious. I carefully climbed out of bed, making sure I didn't wake her in my attempts to move, and went downstairs to start making breakfast. Before going to the kitchen, I packed away all the stuff we brought back last night in its rightful place, noticing that there was some mail. I walked over and picked up the few envelopes. Throwing the ones I didn't need right now on the table, I opened the one that was clearly from Kevin; you could tell just by the writing.

Hey Vic

Just checking you've got everything ready for tour. I'll see you on the day at 5:30am. You'd better be up, otherwise I'll get Mike to burst in. Also, can you text me if Holly is still coming?

Thanks

Kevin Puig

What a waste of paper, he could have just rung me or text me, but oh well. I put the letter on the table with the other unopened envelopes and walked through to the kitchen, pulling out my phone to text Kevin.

-got your letter, we're finishing up with packing today. Yes holly is still coming if that's okay and we'll be up, don't panic. See you tomorrow

I smiled as I placed my phone down and started to make breakfast for Holly and myself. I was halfway through making the breakfast when there was a knock on the door. "Hang on" I called, moving the food so it wouldn't burn. I ran through the house, almost slipping on the floor before I reached the door. I opened it to see Jaime stood with three cups of coffee. "Hey Hime, whats up?" I asked, stepping to the side to let him in. "Hey Vic, I finished packing and I thought you might like some help? You always leave it until the last minute, and I brought some coffee" he smiled. "Oh okay, sure, and thanks" I grinned as I closed the front door. "Where's Holly?" he asked, looking over towards the living room. "Still asleep" I smiled, walking through to the kitchen. "Really?" "Yeah, I'll probably go and wake her up in a minute though, breakfast is nearly done" He walked over to me and handed me two of the three cups he had. "One's yours and the others Holly's" he grinned. "Okay, thanks Jaime. Do you want some breakfast too? There's enough for the three of us" I smiled and he shrugged. "Here, have a seat" I laughed as I started dishing up the food onto three plates. "I'll be back in a second, I'm going to get Holly up" I smiled, lightly hitting his arm as I brushed passed him.

I ran up the stairs and looked through the door frame to see Holly still curled up asleep. I slowly and quietly walked over to the bed and crouched down beside it, bringing my face inches away from hers. "Holly, you need to get up" I said softly and calmly, and she slowly started to wake up. "Morning beautiful" I smiled as her eyes opened. "Why did you wake me" she groaned as she attempted to bury her face in the pillow. "Because breakfast is ready and Jaime is here and he brought coffee. Plus we need to finish packing and get an early night because we're being picked up at 5:30" I laughed. "Fine. I'll be down in a minute" she whined. "Good. I love you" I smirked as I stood up. "Love you too Victor" she replied playfully. "You'll regret that" I smirked as I left the room.

I ran back down and put the three plates on the table as I sat opposite Jaime. "We won't get food like this on the road" he smiled as he poked at it with a fork. "I know. I'm going to miss home, but touring is fun" I replied. "That reminds me, have you heard from Kellin or Jenna saying they're ready?" he asked, looking at me with interest. "Actually, I haven't. I'll message them later" I smiled. At that moment Holly arrived in the doorway and smiled. "Morning" she laughed. What happened next I was not expecting. "Holly!" Jaime yelled, rolling off of his chair to tackle her to the floor. "What the hell!" she laughed, trying to get away from him. "Good to see you" he laughed as he stood up and pulled her with him. "Did you have to knock me down whilst I'm half asleep?" she whined as she took a seat. "You'll thank me later" he smirked. She looked over at me with the most confused expression I had ever seen and I just shrugged before taking another bite of my food. "Here's your coffee" Jaime smiled, passing us the two cups of drink that he had kindly picked up. "Thanks Hime" Holly grinned which was followed by my thanks before we ate in silence. Holly was eating quite slow and minimal amounts, but that's probably because she doesn't like really being around people when she eats.

Holly's POV

We finished breakfast and spoke about random little things before we had to start packing to make sure that we were ready. "Okay Holly, how ever much I hate this idea, will you be okay here on your own whilst we quickly run and pick up a couple of things from the shop?" Vic asked cautiously. I don't know why he needs to worry, I'll be indoors in the house, it'll be perfectly fine. "Of course Vic" I smiled as I put some clothes into a bag. "Are you sure?" he continued, coming to kneel beside me. "Yes I'm sure. I'm capable of staying in a house on my own for a while" I laughed lightly. "Okay. I promise we won't be long, I love you" he smiled, quickly pressing his lips to mine in a swift motion. "Love you too Vic. Take your time, I'll continue with this" I smiled, gesturing to the clothes and bags surrounding me. "Okay, see you soon" he grinned. "Bye Holly!" Jaime screamed behind Vic. "Hey! I'm stood directly in front of you" Vic pouted as he waved at me and walked off. "Bye Hime" I laughed as he disappeared.

It was weird being on my own; I'm not use to being here without Vic constantly with me. In all honesty, I didn't like being on my own, but they won't be long. I continued packing some of our stuff, and I came across one of Austin's old shirts which I decided I was going to wear tomorrow; it's quite big on me, but its comfortable and it's my brothers, plus it's a Nirvana shirt so it looks pretty cool.

It had been an hour and Vic and Jaime still weren't back, and I had almost finished the clothes packing. I decided I would go for a shower because I would need one before tomorrow anyway, and there's no telling when they'll be back so now's as good of a time as ever really.

Whilst I was in the shower I put a playlist on of my favourite Pierce the Veil songs. It feels weird listening to them now, but they calm me down. My hand ran up my arm, bringing back the pain from my past. Up until Vic and the others saved me, I was dead I guess you could say. Without them, I'd still be in that place I once called a home with the people who couldn't care less about me. Tears began to fill my eyes, and no matter how much I blinked them away they wouldn't stop falling. I heard the front door close and Vic called my name, which meant I had to stop crying because I can't let him see how weak I still am. I heard footsteps walk closer to the bathroom door. "Holly, we're back" Vic called over my music. "Okay, I won't be too long" I replied, trying to sound like I wasn't crying; I don't want Vic to worry. He shouldn't worry about me. No one should.

Vic's POV

"Come on Jaime, please. I told Holly we wouldn't be long" I said worriedly; I trust Holly, but I don't like the idea of her being alone. "Vic, stop panicking. She'll be fine" he replied calmly as we pulled away from Kellin's house: after going to the shop we decided we would check with Kellin that Sleeping with Sirens were ready, and get him to get ahold of Tonight Alive. Also I had planned to take Holly out for dinner tonight after Jaime had gone home, just as a treat before we hit the road, but I can't leave it too late because of the time we have to wake up, although we can always sleep once we've loaded everything onto the bus.

It wasn't long until Jaime pulled back up outside my house which I was happy about. We climbed out of the car in unison and walked up to the front door which I unlocked rather quickly. The second we stepped inside I called Holly's name, but there was no answer. I looked at Jaime with a worried expression before running upstairs, and I relaxed once I heard running water and a very familiar song playing. She was listening to The Sky Under The Sea, and I was tempted to sing along, but decided against it. I noticed that a lot had been done since we left which I was impressed with. I smiled and walked over to the bathroom door before tapping on it gently. "Holly, we're back" I called over the song. "Okay, I won't be too long" she replied, her voice sounding slightly off. I slowed my breathing down to a steady rate as I went back down to join Jaime.
