I lay and wait.

Tony's POV

It had been a couple of weeks since Vic and Holly's argument, and he was absolutely losing it. We all were really; we missed her. Austin was also going crazy, he had searched pretty much everyday for her, not that I can say I blamed him. They were the closest family to each other after all. Vic wouldn't talk to anyone really either; he would spend his days either sitting alone somewhere or looking for her. It saddened me in all honesty. That was why I was out, doing as Mike had requested. I was shopping for Vic, because he had barely eaten a thing.

I had been walking around the mall for almost an hour now and I was just about ready to head home, but then something stopped me in my tracks. A familiar figure was walking past with a man and woman, along with four other children, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was who Austin described, it was the same people we saw that day at the cinema. It was her family. I began to pick up my pace, doing my best to get as close to Holly as possible. She looked like a train wreck, and I would have done anything to get her away from them. She started looking round and it wasn't long until her eyes locked onto mine, washing with fear. She shook her head and looked forward again. What was wrong? Did she not want help? I continued walking faster, but it was no use, I couldn't keep up. It seemed impossible. I had to tell Vic about this.

Holly's POV

"For fucks sake Holly! You're useless! Get up" Ray ordered, kicking at my ankles. I tried so hard not to make a noise; I had learnt that by now. "We're going out, all of us, so get up and make yourself presentable" he spat before marching away. They were actually going to take me with them? This was new! Ray would never normally let me be seen in public with him, so this came as a huge surprise. I decided not to test his luck, so I went with something less depressing, wearing some dark blue jeans and plain black top. Once I arrived downstairs, my two sisters were stood there, waiting for everyone else. At one point I could have sworn that the younger one of the two gave me a sympathetic smile, but it was probably all in my head. "Right, everyone in the car, now" Ray called as he ran through the house.

The journey was silent, but it was bearable. I was sat in the very back with one of my sisters whilst my parents sat in the front, the rest of my siblings behind them.

We pulled up outside the mall and something about being here made me relax; Ray couldn't do anything in public, so for a while I was completely safe. "Okay, we're going shopping and then I need to collect something from one of the hardware stores, so everyone stay close. Especially you Holly. You try anything then I will be a hell of a lot less than impressed, got it?" he asked with warning, and I responded with a nod. "Good. Now everybody out." We all complied, clambering out of the car at a decent pace before making our way into the mall. I was still surprised as to why I was told to come along, but then it was probably because I wasn't trusted to stay behind on my own; after all, why would he want to let me escape again? We began walking towards one of the shops that I remember going in with my mum before Ray became an ass, and something didn't feel right. I could feel eyes boring into my skull, and it didn't feel right. I turned slightly to see none other than.... Tony? What was he doing here! Ray couldn't see him, that would not go down well at all. He began to speed up, clearly trying to catch up but I shook my head, warning him off. He looked at me puzzled, hurt even before he slowed down slightly, still following our path slightly. I glanced at him apologetically once more before continuing my journey, acting as though I hadnt seen him. What good could com from this?

"Who was that, huh!?" Ray bellowed, towering over me; he was referring to Tony. How did he see him though? Tony wasn't even in Rays line of sight! "I don't know! I'm sorry" I cried back, willing this to stop. "Lying will only make this worse! I'm not fucking stupid, so who the fuck was he and why was he following us!" he continued, swinging for me once more. "Tony! His name's Tony, an old friend! He doesn't know where we live" I hiss, falling to my knees to avoid whatever I could. "He'd better not, because if anyone shows up here asking for you, you can be damned sure that you won't get off easy!" he spat, before pushing past me, walking out in anger. I was honestly surprised I got off as easy as I did anyway, so I couldn't imagine what would happen if Tony or anyone else were to show up. I had to contact him, beg him not to show up and not to tell the others where I was.
-Tony please, don't tell anyone who I'm with, it wont be good for anyone. Im sorry
It didn't take long for him to reply
-you must be kidding right? we can help you holly. You might not think so but we all miss you. Vic needs you
-vic doesnt need me, thats the whole reason this whole thing started
-trust me, you havent seen him. we'll come and get you and thats a promise. I fucking promise you Holly
-no you cant! Ray would be mad! Really mad, I can't risk that! none of you can come to the house, there would be consequences for all of us
-well no matter what it takes, we'll find a way. Stay safe, please. we all love and miss you and you'll be back with us soon.
I didn't reply after that, I couldn't. What was I meant to say? I knew how stubborn Austin would be once he finds out where I am. I wonder if Tony had already told them? I hope not, I don't want anyone else to get hurt.
