You Dont Have A Backup Plan.
Vic's POV
I walked around talking to the few bands that had showed up; Mike decided he would cook the food because apparently I was incapable of cooking food on a barbecue, which I think was highly incorrect, last time we went to our parents house, I was the one working the barbecue, so Mike needs to rethink his words. "So, you and Holly huh" Alex from All Time Low said, nudging me with his elbow. I smiled and nodded, looking over at her. She was sat on the wooden steps talking to Tony, it's good she gets along with the guys; Mike wasn't so sure about her in the beginning, but I think now he knows more about her they're slowly getting closer. "How did you meet her?" he asked, taking a sip of his drink. "We were out, messing around, and you know what Jaime's like, we found a park and he insisted we went in. So we did and she was sat there with her brother on the swings and we got talking" I said, smiling at the memory. I need to thank Jaime for wanting to go in that park now I think about it. "Did she know you guys?" he laughed, taking another mouthful of his drink. "Are you serious? Of course she did" I laughed. "She was wearing one of our shirts and her brother says we're her favourite band" I continued, still laughing. "Wait, so, does she listen to all of our music?" he asked, gesturing to the few bands that were gathered in my garden. I shrugged before nodding; I know she likes Sleeping with Sirens and Of Mice & Men, so I guess she likes these guys as well. "That's cool actually" Alex smiled. "Lexy!" Jack yelled from the other end of the garden, receiving quite a few laughs. "I better go see what Jack wants" Alex laughed before he patted my back and ran over to Jack, being careful not to spill his drink.
I looked back over to Holly who was now sat on her own, playing with her fingers. Tony was talking to Jaime who was stood near Mike. "Hey" I smiled as I got over to her. She looked up and instantly smiled as she saw me. "Hey" she replied back, placing her hands in her lap. "Why are you sat on your own over here?" I asked, sitting down beside her and placed a hand on her knee. "I uh-" she was cut off by Kellin and Jesse running out from my house. "Vic, you need to clean up after yourself" Jesse laughed, jumping over Holly and I. "What do you mean" I asked, raising an eyebrow whilst pulling a grin. "There are clothes all over the place upstairs, and there are pillows all over your living room, what is wrong with you" he responded, laughing once again as he picked up a red plastic cup from the table and poured himself a drink. "That's because there was a blanket fort downstairs, but the clothes are just there, no real reason for them" I laughed. He also laughed before walking off to talk to Austin and Alan who were stood at the very end of the garden. "Kellin, why are you just standing there?" Holly asked, shifting on the step so she could look up at him. He was staring in a single direction, toward Holly's brother, who was leaning up against the fence. Holly's vision instantly snapped in his direction as she shot up and rushed over to him. I stood up, unsure on what to do, but eventually I followed her.
"Austin, what's wrong?" She asked, wrapping her small arm over his shoulders somehow. "Nothing's wrong Holly honest" he replied, pulling a lopsided smile as he slowly stood up straight. "I know you're lying Austin, now tell me" she replied sternly, not taking her gaze away from him. He sighed heftily before showing her something on his phone screen. It was a picture, a picture of what looked like the cinema we were at earlier. I stepped closer and wrapped my arm around Holly's waist and glanced at the picture myself. It was a picture of the five of us walking out of the cinema, why was this such a bad thing. "What's wrong about it?" Holly asked curiously. "It's was taken by Ray" he replied. Who's ray? "Well it's only a picture of us walking, he can't do anything with it so everything will be fine, okay?" she said, pulling him into a hug. He sighed before nodding and embraced her in his arms.
Everyone started leaving as it was getting late, well, late as in everyone had been here for a good few hours. It was now just Mike, Tony, Jaime, Holly and the Sleeping with Sirens guys here with myself, and it was quite relaxing just for all of us to be sat out in the heat around a small fire pit at the end of my garden, waiting for Kellin, Justin, Jesse, Jack and Gabe to be picked up, which didn't take long. Once they had left my band mates, Holly and myself went inside and sat down, talking about random little things for a while.
