One month later...

As the sun rose, casting its golden hues across the beautiful forest, the team assembled on the rooftop. Each member stood clad in a black and orange variant of the main suit, meticulously designed to combine protection with agility. The attire exuded a lean yet formidable design, combat pants hugging their forms, while they wore reinforced boots, their gloved hands fit for battle. Across their eyes, masks concealed their identities. The first rays of sunlight kissed the horizon; it painted them in a halo of intensity, their figures etched against the fiery brilliance.

Ryan stood among them, now transformed; his body, lean and toned from rigorous training. Beside him, Dante and Max stood poised for action. Karla, Jennifer, and Michelle embodied confidence, their gaze unflinching. Lastly, Zoe, Ray, and Nichole stood at the ready, their determination unshakeable.

Sapphire's demeanor radiated an air of authority. Beside her stood another figure, a long-haired girl with a pale yet radiant complexion. Glasses perched on her nose, and freckles sprinkled across her cheeks, hidden beneath her hood; she was a quiet presence, her uniform mirroring the others. The blonde-haired girl stepped forward; her voice was soft as she waved her hands at the team.

"Hi..." She whispered.

" Hi, I'm Ryan, and you are? " Ryan extended his hand.

The girl shyly looked away, hiding her face with the side of her hood. Ryan awkwardly retracted his hand, glancing at her with a faint blush.

"Uh, okay. " Ryan mumbled.

"This is Amy." Sapphire motioned to the girl, "She isn't exactly...from here, so she's still getting used to Earth tendencies."

"Huh? What is she, some kinda alien?-" Karla raised an eyebrow.

"Hey! " Jennifer quickly covered Karla's mouth, " She...finds that word offensive. "

"Amy comes from a different place, one with its own customs and ways of doing things. She just got a little lost on the way here. But she's a valuable asset." Sapphire explained.

" Uh...huh. " Karla and Ryan gave each other the side eye.

Sapphire's gaze shifted from the folder to her team, her voice steady and assured.

"Alright, it's time for your first crisis mission. This island we're on used to house soldiers in times of war. So, don't stress about damage. This is a chance to go all out and show your abilities."

Eager anticipation coursed through the team as they listened to her instructions.

 "Your enemy? The four generals; the members of the Elite."

"You mean you and your friends, right?" Ray's hand shot up as he spoke.

"Yes, my friends. " Sapphire chuckled. "They will be your main obstacle; your mission is simple. Retrieve their hostage. "

"Wait, who's the hostage?" Ryan barely managed to speak before chaos erupted.

BOOOM!

A violent burst of purple energy suddenly materialized around them, quickly followed by a loud shockwave that sent them hurtling into the air.  Then, out of nowhere, a purple blur streaked through the mayhem! In an instant, it snatched Sapphire and vanished into thin air. The team was left suspended high in the clouds, disoriented and overwhelmed by the blistering speed of the assault.

"Amy, help us out!" Jennifer grimaced.

Amy's eyes immediately glowed yellow, and with a quick incantation, a shimmering golden bubble enveloped the entire team. They were all teleported into a dense forest in the blink of an eye. Ryan? He freaked out so badly that he couldn't hold down his lunch. Michelle and Karla shuddered, still feeling the burn from the earlier explosion.
