BAM! BAM! BAM!

In the midst of their battle with Jackal, Ryan, Karla, and Zoe continued to confront their adversary. Jackal, who moved with the agility of a wild animal, leaped from tree to tree, launching rapid attacks at Karla and Ryan with feral intensity, her slashes coming in rapid succession. Karla met each strike with her bone shields, the resounding impacts echoing through the forest.

Ryan and Jackal were locked in a whirlwind of motion, their claws clashing and sparks flying in all directions. Jackal's ears twitched as she laughed, her tone dripping with a mix of amusement and provocation.

"S-s-so when is y-your friend going to j-join in?" Jackal taunted, her yellow eyes glinting with mischief, all while she tried to hide the sounds of her chattering teeth.

" F-focus up. " Ryan laughed, blocking another attack as Zoe slid behind him.

" How much longer? " Zoe asked telepathically.

"Just a bit more. She's slowing down. " Ryan bit his lip, trying to hide his quivers from the cold.

As Zoe swirled around the area, the temperature dropped steadily. Karla's arms shivered as the frigid air began to take hold. Meanwhile, Ryan demonstrated his agility, flipping over Jackal and launching a series of rapid kicks. Jackal expertly blocked his strikes, and their movements began to mirror each other's attacks.

"Y-you're a quick learner! Sapphire told me a lot about you!" Jackal taunted.

" Wait..r-really?"

BAM!

Jackal used the opening to her advantage, forcing him to block a powerful punch.

"F-focus up."

"She got you there." The dragon appeared around Ryan and laughed.

Ryan chuckled, regaining his focus, and swiftly dodged another speed blitz from Jackal. The force of her attack obliterated a tree behind him. Karla continued to shiver, her powers weakening from the cold. Ryan zoomed behind Karla, huffing small flames from his mouth to warm her. He then dashed back in at Jackal, while Karla provided long-range support, forcing Jackal to dodge her tendrils. 

In the heat of their battle, Zoe slid gracefully into position beside Ryan, and the two exchanged a subtle nod. With practiced coordination, Ryan launched himself backward into the air, a move initiated by Karla, who expertly swung him around the forest using her blood tendrils.  Jackal, seeing an opportunity to reach Zoe, moved to close the distance. But Zoe was prepared throwing out an aura of frost, at the ground.

"I g-g-get it now." Jackal smiled, her ankles now encased in ice.

Swiftly, Zoe threw up an ice wall and retreated into the foilage. Seizing this newfound opportunity, Karla launched Ryan towards Jackal.

BAM!

Ryan's powerful drop kick connected with the ice wall, causing it to shatter into a flurry of ice shards. However, Jackal had managed to evade his attack by the narrowest of margins, narrowly avoiding being hit. She hung from a nearby tree, laughing as her voice carried through the forest.

WHOOSH!

" Y-y-you...almost got me love. " Jackal laughed.

" That's all I needed to hear. " Ryan replied with a smirk.

Ji-Ho stood resolute in the center of the battlefield. His shadowy clones darted around, a relentless onslaught of kicks, flips, and teleportation that left Max on the constant defensive. It was a symphony of agility and darkness, as the clones used the shadows as portals, leaping from one location to another with unparalleled swiftness.
