Mirielle's Point of View

I had practically gone hysterically this point.

"Tikki! This went way to far!!! I'm such a moron!! I never should have tried to be Marinette! I hate what I've become!! I love Adrien but he only loves Marinette! He doesn't even love me and he never will!" I sobbed.

Guilt had gone into overdrive.

"Oh Mirielle, I tried to tell you it would go too far," Tikki turned into my mother with her whole "I-toldya-so" attitude.

I became emotionally unstable.

I threw myself onto the bed with sobs then I had an idea... Maybe I could go away and tell everyone that my reincarnation wouldn't last long.

I could let everyone say their goodbyes to Marinette and I would never transform again.

"Tikki, I can fix this," I decided, wiping my tears.

Her eyes widened.

"Mirielle..." Tikki warned.

"I could let everyone say goodbye," my voice shook, pulling together my confidence.

"What are you talking about?" Tikki asked me, her suspicion rising.

"If I told everyone that I faked being Marinette, they would all hate me and mourn over her. They would never be happy," My voice trembled, as I took some hair and tucked it behind my ear.

"So what are you going to do?" Tikki flew up to me, and sat on my hand.

"I won't transform again. I can tell everyone that my reincarnation won't last forever. They can say goodbye to Marinette one last time," the words slipped from my lips in a whisper, tears threatening to slip from my eyes.

"Mirielle! I- I don't want to lose you either! Are you giving up your miraculous?!" Her voice rose to a high, anxious volume; concern written in her expressions.

"Tikki, I never deserved the miraculous. I used it for my own benefit. I never even fought an akuma. I never learned. This belongs to a much more deserving miraculous holder. I'm sorry, but Marinette made a mistake when she thought I would be a good holder," I used every bit of strength to finally push out the words that have been locked in my mind.

"I think you're going to need to fight," Tikki's eyes widened in fear, her pupils growing small as she backed away.

"Wh-" I started to say before I turned around to see a girl with an orange fox-themed suit on the roof of a nearby house.

My heart burned and sunk to my stomach. It was the one who killed the real Ladybug.
