Audrenia stood there-frozen. Before she came to me she was confident, even determined to find out what she was, but this took a toll on her. She was a member of the Pisces clan, but she didn't know she was the actual representative of the zodiac sign. I heard her sigh, and knew that she was having a hard time registering it.
Holding my breath, I walked over to her and sat her down at the mahogany table. I got up and went to the kitchen to brew some herbal tea for the child. When I got back I saw the girl laying her head down. Carefully setting the cup next to her, I seated myself in the chair at her side.
"Are you okay?" I finally asked. The girl lifted her head and I saw her tear trails. She shook her head and laid her head back down. I felt my heart shatter at the child's expression. "What's wrong?" I asked again, wanting to help the poor thing.
She lifted her head once more and wiped her eyes. She looked at me- pain in her eyes. "Nothing." She answered. I held my breath, something inside of me told me that something was breaking inside of her. I wanted to help-desperately. "Now, I know that's not true. You wouldn't be crying if something wasn't bothering you." I answered her, my voice calm and gentle.
"Well, okay. It's-it's what you said." She answered with a sniffle. My heart ached, I caused this? "My parents, before they disappeared, they told me that I needed to know about a sign. They said that I was a Pisces-they told me that I was important. Before they went missing, they told me to look for someone, another zodiac sign. They called it Virgo. They told me that she would help me. Do you know anything about that sign?" She asked pointing to my painting, which was the symbol of my sign.
I looked at her and realized that I was holding my breath again. I released it and look back at the painting. "Come with me." I said grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the chamber in my basement. It was filled with flowers and many vines, a small miniature river flowed throughout the room.
I looked back at the girl nervously as I lead her towards the water. "Put your right hand over the water and think about something happy." I told her patiently. She gave me a strange look and did as she was told. The water rose as she lifted her hand up and flipped it over. She looked amazed and shocked about her newly discovered power.
I smiled softly at her and told her to stand up and watch. "Now, stay a few feet away, that's it, wonderful. Don't be scared, I'm just gong to show you something." I told her as I summoned vines and flowers to rise out of the ground. I tapped my foot on the floor and a little wall rose up, the girl was astonished by my power.
I held out my hand calmly and smiled at her. " I am Virgo. You are the human representative of the sign Pisces, that little trick you just did, was your power. my element is earth, yours is water." I asked her. I saw her nod and smiled. "I grew up with your father, he was my brother." You informed her.
