The next morning, my head hurt. It honestly felt as if the world was going to explode. I groggily got out of bed and went downstairs to the medicine cabinet for aspirin. When I took the medicine I made pancakes and sausage for breakfast. The aroma wafted throughout the house as it was being made.

I heard Audrenia run down the stairs and rush into the kitchen. "Slow down squirt, you're going to get hurt." I told her as I held out my arm so that she wouldn't run into the stove. I heard huff and saw her cross her arms. "Don't get that attitude with me young lady! I just don't want to file paper work saying why you got third degree burns." I replied as I saw her roll her eyes at me. I shot a glare at her...warning her to stop. She returned the glare and sat down at the table. I felt your head pound and began to feel dizzy. "Ouch." I said as I clutched my head. Audrenia, alarmed, rushed over to me to make sure I was alright. "Mayla?!" She asked concerned, I didn't answer as I staggered back, clutching my head as I tried not to writhe in pain.

"What's going on?" Kalemia asked as she came into the kitchen. She took in the scene before her and saw me trying not to fall over. "Mayla, are you alright? Do you need to go to the doctor?" She asked as she rushed over and tried to help me. I felt as if I couldn't say anything-as if my mind went blank and all the words I had once known vanished. I managed to shake my head slowly as I groaned in pain by the movement. "I think we should get you to the hospital." Audrenia suggested as Jeff walked into the kitchen. I rolled my eyes as I wondered how many people would come into my kitchen right now.

"Guys, it's okay, I'm fine. It's just a little headache-it'll pass over." I managed to croak out as another wave of pain filled my brain and made me kneel down to the floor. "Mayla!" Audrenia cried as she tried to steady me carefully." I'm okay! I promise! Just...don't...take me to the...doctor...." I whispered as I saw black dots clear my vision and feel a sinking feeling in my chest weigh me down. I felt my body go limp as I allowed the pain take over. I tried to fight it, but I was already too weak. Before my body could shut shut down completely, one thought crossed my mind...what if Liam was who I thought he was? If that's so, all of heck is going to break loose.
