I was down in the basement trying to avoid getting noticed by Liam. I was looking across the room at a brown wooden door that he was guarding. I struggled to keep quiet as I strained to keep Kalemia from escaping at home. I placed her there as soon as she told me where Audrenia was located.

After all, I couldn't let someone else suffer. Kalemia seemed so sweet and nice, it'd be a shame to just let her stay here brainwashed. I called a vine to reach the door as I saw Liam occupied. Stealthily, I watched as it slowly crept its way across the floor and begin to pick the lock.

I heard a quiet click and had it come back to me. As fast as lightning, the vine whipped back quietly and disappeared into thin air as Liam came back from the other room. I heard someone scream and began to panic.

It was Audrenia and I knew what they were doing to her. Anger flooded through me and resentment coursed through my veins. I combined all of that anger and pointed it towards Liam. A tree began to grow in front of him and his eyes widened. Its limb smacked  him to the floor with one smooth whack. I got up to make sure he wasn't too hurt and slipped behind the wooden door.

I walked down the small corridor and grew glowing roses to light the way. I rounded the corner and found a large wooden door in front of me. I opened the door with a vine and walked inside. I was ready to fight and do anything for my niece-no matter the cost was.

"Ahhhhhh!!!" I heard her scream. I tried to rein in my anger as I walked closer to the archway of another room. I walked through the arch only to find Audrenia giggling as she looked at me. "Audrenia?" I asked skeptically.

"Ha ha ha ha ha! Mayla, you came!" She laughed as she threw her arms around me. Something didn't seem right. Pushing Audrenia off of me, I looked her in the eyes. Looks like the real Audrenia. I thought. I heard the click of the door behind me and ran towards the shadows of the corner.
