"They are not friendly either, trust me, I was one of them." Kalemia said, a shiver running up and down her spine. Jeff nodded, his gaze lingering on me. "What?" I snapped as I hardened my gaze. Jeff put up his hands defensively. "Mayla!" Audrenia shouted as she shot daggers at me with her eyes.
"What?" I asked as I glared back at her. "Stop acting like this! We want him to know us as the good guys, not the bad guys. You're just making it worse! I understand that you have a lot of stress on you right now but you need to be nice!" Audrenia told me harshly. My gaze softened and I put my head in my hands. "I'm sorry guys, I don't know what's up with me. I felt fine before we came here. I apologize, Jeff, for being so rude." I answered trying to fight back the tears.
