I walked back to my room and lied down. My brain was swimming with thoughts and questions. My body was beat and my energy levels were depleting. I tried to go to sleep but it seemed that fate said otherwise. I remembered an old saying that if you can't go to sleep then someone else is thinking about you.

I smiled to myself as I tried to think about who could possibly be thinking about me out of everyone else. The time finally came when exhaustion took over and I fell asleep. As always, my dreams were of the future. This has happened ever since I was four. the dreams would just come to me when I didn't expect them.

They were usually about unimportant things such as; talking to someone, where I was going to be, how I was feeling around one person, who would say something nice to me, what this event did, or who was thinking about me. This time, it was about something that may or may not involve me. . . .

Liam was on the floor, he felt happy yet angry. He was happy that I got so close to him but angry that I got away. He knew that somewhere I most likely had feelings for him but he didn't know if it was true. He desperately wanted to believe that but his conscience said otherwise.

He realized that he loved me, dearly. All of the evil that he had done was to see if anyone actually cared about him. He wanted to see if someone would love him.  Then he met me at school. He saw how I looked at him, how I blushed, or even talked to him. He loved the way my eyes sparkled when I talked or when I got really excited about something.

Even though he only knew me for a little while he felt drawn to me. He had this gut feeling that he belonged with me. It was as if it was his soul trying to detach itself from his body and find me. He kidnapped Audrenia because he wanted to see me again. He knew it sounded absurd and creepy, but he loved me that much.  All he wanted was to know what love felt like. And when I'm around him he knows.

I woke up woke up with a start as I felt a hand clamp over my mouth. I looked up to find a stranger looking down at me with a smirk on his face. "Mayla?" He asked. I slowly nodded my head. He smirked and threw me over his shoulder. "Hey! Put me down!" I shouted as I hit his back. "No can do princess." He answered.
