"Mayla...." Liam groaned as I snuggled into my blanket more. "Ahh sleeping." I answered as I nuzzled my pillow. I heard him sigh and mutter to himself as the sound of him moving filled the silence of the room. I felt the bed dip from his body weight and smirked to myself. Looks like someone needs to learn a lesson again. I felt Liam put his arms around my torso an waited for my plan to unfold.

He gripped my waist as he tried to  set me on his lap. I took this as my chance and flipped over, kicked him in the shin, and ran out of the bedroom door. I tried not to die by tripping over the stairs as I laughed at myself for being a genius. Liam's howls of pain didn't help either, it just added onto my uncontrollable laughter.

His heavy footsteps had the adrenaline in my body flowing. I scrambled towards the kitchen and was getting ready to hide in one of the cabinets when I felt a hand clasp over my mouth and drag me towards the entry way. I screamed and I kicked my attacker I felt the skin around my mouth burn. There were no sparks. I didn't know who it was, but I knew that it wasn't Liam. Which means that I'm going to beat some serious butt when I'm free.
