Listen To Your Heart

Yoongi thought about not showing up to school that day, but his heart told him he needed to. Lately, he had been feeling so done with life. With everything. Both his mother and stepfather were dead now. He was a murderer. And now he was alone. This wasn't how he thought the week would turn out.

7:57AM.

This was one of those rare occasions in which Yoongi actually showed up to school early. The reason being was because he didn't have to deal with his stepfather yelling in his ear all morning.

He parked his car and sat there for a second. He waited. And waited. And waited. Waited for what? He didn't know, he just didn't feel like it was the right time to enter the building, yet.

8:00AM.

Yoongi stared at the front doors. That's when he saw Taehyung approaching the school. Yoongi froze. A part of him told himself to stay in the car and wait, but another part of him told himself to go up to Taehyung and apologize for... Well, everything. Of course his heart listened to the latter.

Yoongi opened his car door and ran over to Taehyung before the boy could even enter the building.

"Taehyung! Taehyung wait up!"

The brown haired boy turned towards him. When he saw him, he smiled. Yoongi painfully smiled back. He never smiled, so it hurt to do so.

"Look, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being a dick. I really am. I'm sorry for saying that you're a middle class bastard. I'm sorry for saying that you have no reason to be depressed. Forgive me?" Yoongi pleaded.

Taehyung's smile disappeared. Now, he looked confused. As if he didn't know what to do next.

"Thanks, Yoongi. I appreciate it. Means a lot coming from you," Taehyung said with a grin. Yoongi gave a faint smile.

"Though, I'm still going to have to kill you. Sorry," Taehyung said as he lifted a gun to Yoongi's head.

'Is that my gun?!-'

      A loud crack filled his ears as his vision went dark. Damn. Who knew that listening to your heart could get you into so much trouble.
