Sasuke's twin. [ DISCONTINUED]

Goodbye, my Dear Friend.

[ WARNING. THE FEELS ARE REAL. ]

Today was the day of the Third Hokage's funeral. Hana, Meiko, and Taro were complete messes. They lost the man who was their sensi. The man who helped them train and become better as a team. They lost the man who promised to protect their team at whatever cost it would be.

The three made their way to the Hokage building to pick up Konohamaru, but Ebisu stood outside his door with a defeated look on his face.

"Ebisu-sensi, what's wrong?" Taro asked him as he looked at the three with a slight smile.

"He refuses to come out of his room... he won't accept he lost his grandfather.." Ebisu said to the three as Hana looked at the door. She frowned as she slowly walked closer to the door.

"I'll talk to him... we will meet you three there." Was all the Uchiha said before knocking on Konohamaru's door and slowly walking in.

There sat a young boy, staring blankly at the floor. His clothing slightly wet from crying. The scene broke Hana's heart into tiny pieces before moving to the boy. She knelt down on the ground so she could look at him. They stared at each other for a moment before they hugged each other tightly.

Hana held the boy against her as a few tears fell from her eyes. She remember the day she lost her family. The next day, she was a mess. She cried for hours everyday until she couldn't cry anymore. She missed her brother, her mother and father. She missed her family. She knew exactly what Konohamaru was feeling, loneliness.

She knew what it was like to come home to no one. No more hugs, no one to kiss her boo-boo when she got hurt. No one to talk to everyday. She just held him tightly in her embrace until she spoke up.

"I promised Hokage-sensi one thing before the finals for the chunin exams... and that was to protect you with my life." Hana spoke softly as she slowly stood up and wiped her tears, quickly wiping the young boys. "I'm going to protect you and let nothing bad happen to you."

A small smile moved over the young girls lips as she held her hand out to the young boy. He was hesitant but took it, slowly moving off the bed. They soon walked out of the building towards the funeral in complete silence.

Once there, they spotted Meiko, Taro and Ebisu standing in the front. A small frown moved over Hana's lips as Konohamaru gripped her hand tighter. The two slowly maid their way to the three, Hana standing to Meiko's left with Taro on Konohamaru's left. They just stood there in silence as they stared at the ground.

Hana kept glancing down at Konohamaru, who was crying. He quickly would wipe his eyes every few minutes. She watched Taro place a hand on the boys shoulder to try to help calm him down. He did slowly
as he looked between the two. Every since that battle he had with Orochimaru, those four words keep repeating over and over through her head.

Please, protect my grandson....

Hana quickly shook her head to get out of thought. She looked up at the sky and sighed softly. "I will protect him with my life, sensi.." just then, water started to fall from the sky.

Hana smiled softly, thinking the Gods must be crying as well, for the lost of a beautiful soul. Hana's attention soon moved back to Konohamaru who looked up at her slightly.

At the end of the funeral, Hana walked with Konohamaru to get some Ramen. She tried her best to get the boy to eat but he was too upset. It broke Hana's heart that he wouldn't do anything but sit there with his head down. Suddenly, a familiar yellow haired ninja walked in to get some ramen.

Konohamaru seemed to perk up a bit once Naruto was there, placing a smile over Hana's lips. Naruto chuckled softly as he looked at Hana. A small frown slowly moving over his lips.

"Hey Hana? Can I talk to you after this?" He said to the female as they watched the boy in between them quickly munch down in ramen.

"Sure! Ebisu should be here soon to get Konohamaru anyways." The young girl said as she gently messed with the his hair.

"Hey, stop it Hana!" Konohamaru giggled softly as she tried moving away from her. She giggled softly as Ebisu made his way towards the ramen shop.

"Come on, Konohamaru. We need to leave. It's getting dark." Quickly, the boy hopped off of the stool and ran off.

"I'll see you later Hana! Thanks for staying with me tonight!" The boy said before he disappeared from sight.

"So, Naruto. What did you need to talk to me about?" Hana asked as she folded her hands behind her head. She looked up at the sky, the sun was just setting as she walked the streets with Naruto. He looked at Hana for a second before back towards the direction they were walking.

"The one who attacked the village, he was the one who put those marks on you are Sasuke. Orochimaru?" Naruto asked as Hana stopped walking. The hate in her eyes visible whenever his name was mentioned. It was like the hate Sasuke got whenever Itachi was brought up.

"Yeah.. that's him.. I'm going to kill him one day. He took Hokage-Sensi away. I'm going to kill him if it kills me." Hana said in a dark tone. It was like the happy-go-lucky girl she was before this happened was gone.

Naruto watched her and slowly nodded. "Hana, I'm sorry. Sorry that you lost him." It was like suddenly, Hana changed from the dark person she was to a crying mess. Her eyes began to tear up as she quickly wiped her eyes.

"C-can we please not talk about this, Naruto?" She said quietly as she began to walk. He slowly nodded and they continued to walk the streets in silence.

Once outside Sasuke and Hana's house, Naruto bid his friend a goodbye, hugging her tightly. She returned the hug, slowly slipping into the house after. She made it to her room before she started to cry again, throwing herself on her bed.

A pair of arms slowly wrapped around her in a tight hug. Hana hugged the person back just as tight as she buried her face in his chest.

"It wasn't your fault Hana. It's going to be okay.." Sasuke said quietly as he held his sister. She soon calmed down as fell asleep in her brothers arms. One thought was all she heard before she drifted off into a surprisingly peaceful night of sleep:
