Sand Manipulation.

After days and days of begging, Gaara finally gave in to train with Hana. Today she got a day off from the academy, trusting Temari and Kankuro to run the class today. Hana and Gaara soon made their way towards a training field and stood, staring at each other.

Something about his sand always intrigued her. She could never figure out a strategy if she was going to face him during the chunin exams. She studied him in the preliminaries and then during the finals, not being able to find a weakness. Hana quickly snapped out of her thoughts as sand came flying at her.

Jumping a few feet back, she glared at the red head. She mumbled under her breath as she studied him and his figure. If she somehow separated him and the sand, then she could possibly have a chance. Once again, sand came flying at her and she blocked it. She thought about how he was controlling the sand, quickly activating her sharingan. She smirked once she saw that he was using his chakra to control the sand.

Maybe, just maybe, if she focused her chakra enough, even she could manipulate the sand. As more sand came flying at her, she focused the chakra into her hands and towards the sand. When it suddenly stopped in front of her, Gaara had a slight look of shock on his face. He tried to pull the sand back but failed, Hana slowly pulling it towards her and around her body.

"How? I've been the only person who's been able to use this sand.." Gaara said with the shock in his words instead of on his face.

"Well, with my sharingan, I can see chakra. It can see almost any kind of chakra source. I see you feed your chakra into the sand, so I gave it a try." Hana said as she shot a small sand ball at Gaara. He grew irritated as she did that, quickly taking it back under his control. Hana sent his sand back to him before walking closer to him with a smile over her lips.

"Can you please help me with fighting with sand? Oh please!" She smiled at the boy as he gave her an annoyed look. He let out a sigh before he quickly nodded, helping her learn how to manipulate the sand.

After hours of practicing, Hana was exhausted. She learned a few different ways to trap her enemies in the sand. Just trapping legs, arms and full bodies. On her way back with Gaara, playing with the sand  while walking. She smiled and open the door to the Kazekage building, heading up towards for the house. She yawned some as she moved towards her room. She move towards her desk and noticed a letter on her desk. She opened it and smiled as she read it.

Hana,

Grandma Tsunade told me you were in Suna before I left with Pervy Sage. I hope that you're having fun. Meiko and Taro miss you a lot. They are with Sakura on Team 7 right now since she was missing two teammates. I think they would be a great team. I hope you're doing well. I can't wait to see you soon. Next time you see me, I will be stronger! Just watch! I can't wait to see you in a few years.

Hana chuckled to herself as she placed the note down and leaned back in her chair. She heard a knock at her door and turned to see Kankuro. He watched her as she smiled at him.

"I heard you learned a new skill today. Since I finally fixed Crow and changed his blades, you want to fight me?" He asked with a smirk. Hana nodded and soon got up, walking from her room and past him. He chuckled as he placed Crow on his back as they went to the training grounds.

They walked in silence, glancing at each other every so often. They both blushed as they looked at each other every few minutes. Kankuro was hesitant but he slowly moved to grabbed her hand. Hana looked up at him and tightly squeezed his hand. He smiled as she tangled their fingers together slowly as they walked towards the training grounds.

Once there, Hana broke away from him and ran towards where she noticed the most sand. She smile as Kankuro quickly pulled Crow off his back as he got ready to fight. Hana smirked as she got into a fighting stance. She focused her chakra into the sand around her, slowly moving the sand closer to her. Kankuro connected his chakra strings to Crow as he lunged him at Hana.

She smirked and blocked the attack with the sand, watching the shocked expression on Kankuro's face. She laughed softly as she sent her sand to wrap around Crow's leg. Kankuro moved Crow so she didn't get him. She thought for a moment before looking at Kankuro. She chuckled softly as she slowly moved sand closer to Kankuro, chuckling as she saw he hasn't noticed.

Once she had enough sand by him, she slowly snaked it up his leg and slowly up his body. Quickly, she moved much more sand around his body as she soon hardened it and trapped him inside her hand. She giggled as Crow fell down to the ground as Hana moved towards Kankuro. He groaned as he tried his hardest to get out of the sand but Hana slowly made it tighter.

He groaned again and gave up, Hana killing his cheek softly. She released him from the sand and pushed it off to the side. Kankuro wrapped his arms tightly around Hana as he held her close against him. She giggled softly as she slowly wrapped her arms around his neck. She laid her head against his chest as she closer here eyes.

"So that's why you wanted to practice with Gaara?" He chuckled before pulling away from Hana and placing Crow back on his back before they began walking back towards the Kazekage building. Hana looked up at him with a smile.

"I just needed some practice. I haven't figured out a strategy to beat him. I never found a weakness for him.. that's why I wanted to come out and practice with him. I then figured out how to manipulate sand.." Hana smiled as she walked close to Kankuro. He smiled some and wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they walked.

He nodded at her before they walked in silence. It's was a nice silence though. Hana sighed happily as they soon moved into the building and into the house. They both walked into Kankuro's room, as she sat on his bed. She stared at the puppets on the wall with a smile. He moved to sit beside her, looking at his puppets as well.

"Which one is your favorite to fight with?" Hana asked. Kankuro laid back in his bed and pulled Hana with him as he thought.

"It really depends on which situation I'm going into while fighting. I usually always am with Crow though. Since he was my first puppet I got." He answered her as she closely closed her eyes. Hana yawned softly as she closed her eyes. She curled up against Kankuro's chest and soon fell asleep. He smiled down at her and kissed her head, soon falling asleep with her.

Temari walked around the house trying to find Hana. She wanted help with grading the papers from class that day and she checked everywhere. Except Kankuro's room. Smirking, she slowly opened the door to her brothers room and peeked in. She smirked more once she saw her brother and Hana sleeping on the bad.

"They keep saying there isn't anything there. They're such liars..." She chuckled some before leaving the room and heading back towards her room, grading the papers from that day.
