The Nightmare.

Darkness. Hana couldn't see her hand in front of her face. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked around. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Wrapping her arms around herself, the young Uchiha began to walk. She noticed something that looked familiar, the door to her house. She reached out and slowly opened the door, staring with wide eyes at the scene.

It was her parents on the ground, dead. The night of the Clan Massacre. Why have this dream now? Why dream about this? As Hana slowly moved into the room, she noticed another body on the floor between her parents, hers. She heard crying from the corner and noticed it was Sasuke when they were children.

"Why big brother? Why kill them all?" He cried out. Hana ran to her brother to hug him, but it was like she went through him, like she was a ghost. Frowning, Hana looked up and saw Itachi, glaring down at Sasuke. Before she knew it, Itachi raised his sword and swung at Sasuke.

"Sasuke!" Hana screamed, but it was only heard by her. His body fell to the floor, lifeless. Hana glared up at her brother. "You monster!" She went to punch him but it went right through him. She noticed though, his emotionless eyes, they were tearing up.

Hana stared at him for a moment before he turned away and left. Why was he tearing up? Hana ran towards Sasuke's body and gently sat beside him. Tears in her eyes began to spill out as she pulled her knees to her chest. She couldn't protect him. Hana looked up and saw that Sasuke was slowly standing up and looking at his elder brother. A sigh slowly left her lips as she looked at him, watching her brothers. Once Itachi left, Sasuke ran over to his sisters body, slowly beginning to shake it.

"Hana, wake up please. We need to wake mom and dad! Sis?" Sasuke said as he shook her. He continued to before moving to his mother. "Mommy, wait up? Sissy won't wake up! Please!" Sasuke screamed as tears rolled down his fast. His head shot from his parents to his sister, screaming loudly.

Hana's eyes widened as she felt something hit her side. She looked down and few kunai knives were sticking out of her side. Hana looked up slowly to meet the eyes of her older older brother. She quickly looked around and noticed that Sasuke was nowhere in site. Again, Hana felt a sharp pain, coughing up blood. One after another She felt the kunai knives lodge into her side. Her vision began to blur as she looked at her brother. He came closer to her, inches away. He raised his fist, a kunai in his hand as he shoved it right into Hana's stomach.

Hana quickly jolted up from the bed, breathing heavily. She looked around the room as she slowly wiped the tears from her eyes. When did she start crying? She sighed as she slowly got out of bed and headed down the hall towards Kankuro's room. Slowly, she opened the door and noticed the boy was sitting at his desk, working on a puppet. He smiled at her, soon frowned at her once he noticed her tears eyes.

"Hana, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Kankuro hopped to from his desk and wrapped his arms quickly and tightly around the girl. She quickly wiped her eyes as she watched him.

"I had a nightmare. It was when Itachi killed the family.. he killed me and Sasuke tried to wake mom and I. Then, Itachi threw kunai knives at me.. and he killed me.." Hana said shakily. She was bawling at this point as she held onto her boyfriend. He sighed softly and picked her up, carrying her over to his head.

The two curled up in the bed as he let her cry into him. After some time, she calmed down and looked up at him with a small smile. She sniffled as she wiped her eyes slowly.

"T-thank you, Kankuro." Hana said quietly as she curled up against her boyfriend in the bed. He smiled down at her and kissed her forehead softly. She yawned softly as she slowly closed her eyes.

"Anything for you. I can go make you a snack if you want. If it will help you sleep tonight." Kankuro spoke quietly as he slowly moved in the bed to sit up. Hanna nodded slowly as she smiled at him.

"Please? I don't care what you make me. Thank you, so much.." Hana smiled brightly as him as she cuddled up into his head. She loved laying in his bed, smelling his pillow and blanket. Soon, Kankuro came back with a bowl of fruits, handing it over to her.

"I put extra sugar and honey with it. I know how you like it." He smiled as he handed the bowl over to Hana. He giggled as she grabbed the bowl and the chopsticks from him, quickly eating at the fruit.

Hana smiled brightly at him as she leaned against the wall, as Kankuro moved to his work table and began to tamper with his puppet. Hana watched him curiously before shoving a strawberry in his direction. He laughed softly as he leaned over and grabbed the strawberry and quickly ate it.

"Why are you up so late, Kankuro? Do you always stay up late?" Hana asked as she looked towards the clock next to his desk, 2:40 AM. Hana sighed as she placed the bowl on the table and watched him.

"I know that at night I won't get bothered to go on a mission or to help Gaara with anything. It's the best time I have to fix a puppet or something." He explained as he turned to look at Hana. She smiled some and moved in his bed, patting the space beside her as she laid down. He smiled some and placed everything on his table and as he made his way into his bed.

Hana giggled softly as she laid her head on his chest. He smiled some as he wrapped an arm around her waist as he pulled the blanket over her. She slowly closed her eyes before she settled against him. A small yawn left her lips before she fell asleep, thankfully not having a nightmare again.
