My Adventure Is A Boy Named Kota.

Chapter 2 - Pizza and Rude Brick Walls

*ring ring* AHHH YESSS! I quickly jump up from my desk, grab my books and bolt out of my Chemistry class.

If Mr. Stevens said one more word about Thermochemical equations, I would have stabbed myself in the eye. His voice could make a kid on red cordial go to sleep.

When I get to my locker I see Ben and Willow waiting for me to head to Lunch, mmmm lunch, my favourite class of the day.

Once we get our food from the line we sit down at our usual table in the cafeteria. The entire room is full of tables each filled with different groups of the school. Ben, Willow and my table is located in the centre about two tables across from the popular table. Where Nicole and her minions sit along with a few of the footballers.

Once we sit down I dive into my pizza stuffing my entire mouth. Oh how I love Pizza day at the cafeteria. I look up to see Willow looking at me in disgust and Ben amusedly shaking his head. They both know I eat like a horse.

"Shugth upth" I try to say between bites.

"You were right about that new boy Willow." Ben says. "Apparently he hooked up with Nicole Hamilton second period.

"Hah I'm not surprised." I say, finally swallowing my food. Nicole Hamilton would hook up with a squirrel if it had a six pack. I snort at that image.

"Yeah as well as that, Corey Jackson and Leif Ryder and Him are already best friends." He says.

That surprises me a bit. Corey and Leif are both quite popular, with equally good looks they are part of the list of boys that every girl wants to date. Corey is more of a slacker and prankster. You could say typical player jock except for the fact that he does zero schoolwork or any kind of work. Whereas Leif has always been the golden boy, he's on the football team with Ben and gets straight A's in all of his classes. It's entirely unfair how perfect he is. They are both polar opposites but I guess now they have a new member to their group.

Just as I think that, the cafeteria doors open and the new boy walks in with Nicole clinging for life onto his arm. She tries to drag him to her table but he goes and sits with Corey and Leif leaving her standing awkwardly. She then decides to go sit with her minions. Okay even I cant deny that the three boys are crazy attractive but the new boy is drop dead gorgeous. As he sits down he handshakes the other two boys and they look like they fall into easy conversation. I avert my eyes and stare down at the crust of my pizza.

"Oh Lordy lord he's hot." Willow voices my thoughts.

"Meh, I mean he's okay" I lie, feeling Willows gaze on me. She knows I think he's hotter than the sun.

"Whats his name?" I ask, trying to avoid her piercing eyes.

"Kota Rivers" Ben responds shoving his last piece of pizza in his already full mouth. Wow what a nice name.

"How is he already in with Corey and Leif? It's first lunch." Willow asks.

"Apparently He used to live here and knew them before. He only just moved back." Ben says.

I zone out taking out my phone and scrolling through tumblr. I couldn't care less about some guy, I mean he's nice to look at but not in a million years would he go for me. Also I wouldn't want him to, He sounds like bad news and this needs to be a good year for me.

Soon after that the bell rings to signal the next class. I leave the cafeteria and head to my locker saying bye to Willow and Ben. I look at my schedule to see I have Math next, one of my favourite subjects.

I actually quite enjoy math and I understand it a lot so thats good. As I grab my books I shut my locker and turn around only to slam into a brick wall and drop all of my stuff on the ground. Well that hurt.

"Watch yourself nerd." I hear. Jeez, no need to be rude. As I bend down to pick up my books I mutter. "Why don't you find some manners you snob." As I stand up I realise my mistake. In front of me stands none other than the new kid, Kota Rivers.

Up close I can just see how perfect he is, His cobalt eyes pierce at me with a dark eyebrow raised. I have to look up at him due to his height and I am able to see freckles loitered on his nose and cheeks and his soft pink lips. As I look around I see that quite a crowd has gathered witnessing the commotion as well as Kota's new friends.

Before I get to apologise, he beats me to it.

"What the fuck did you say to me? Don't you know who I am?" He asks, crossing his arms over his chest making his muscles bulge underneath his white shirt. UGH. Boo, Why do the hot ones always have to be absolute jerks. He probably wants me to cower in embarrassment or apologise. But I'm feeling particularly moody today. So Instead I display my most menacing face and put my new found confidence to the test.

"You heard me very clearly you walking mammoth. Now why don't you do me a solid and move out of my way." I reply. Damn, dat confidence tho.

His eyebrows shoot up as he stares at me in clear shock. I bet no one has ever talked to him like that before. Hah serves him right.

"Now you listen to me you little-" He starts. Oh please stop, I just want to get to class.

"No you listen to me you grass-hole. You're new hear so I'll teach you the basics, First off. Why don't you pull your head out of your ass so you can see where your going. Secondly, get some manners and get out of my damn face, Your breath smells bad from all the shit you spew from your mouth." I say to him making his jaw drop. Behind him I see that as well as him a lot of the crowds jaws have dropped. Corey and Leif however are laughing their asses off. Before he or anyone can say anything else I swerve around him and head straight to my class.

Well, That went mighty well, I think. Good job Finn, You have pissed off someone who could potentially kill you.

The rest of the day went by in a blur. Apparently my little stunt with the 'Bad Boy' (Willows words) spread like wildfire. She demanded I give her all the details in third period. Second lunch break was also quite dramatic. As soon as I entered all of the eyes of the cafeteria where on me. Great, so much for going under the radar.

I spot Kota at his table staring at me with great intensity. Throughout the whole lunch I feel his gaze piercing into my skull whilst I try to look at anything in the world except him. Willow loving every second of the drama smiles like a lunatic, and Ben looks at me quizzically asking with his eyes if I'm okay. I answer with a slight smile.

By last period I am so ready for home. I rush out of the school pulling Ben by his hand and meet Willow at his car.

Kota stands on the other side of the parking lot next to a black motorbike. Oh of course he has a motorbike.

He stares at me not giving any emotion into his face, Why does he keep staring at me? I respond his stare with a menacing scowl. Which causes him to smirk. Damn, He has dimples. Please lord shoot me now, He looks incredibly hot smirking. Finn No stop it. He's not hot he's a jack-grass. I hop into Ben's truck not looking back as we speed out of the carpark.

Well, First day of school is complete, and I am still alive. Thats an achievement I'll say.
