"You did the right thing F." Ben Says sitting at the end of my bed.

"He's right Finn. Even if its not forever, maybe you two should just cool it for a while to think about what you both want." Willow says next to me.

I had just told them both as best as I could without crying what had happened with Kota.

"But I haven't even heard his side of the story yet. What if I'm missing something."

"We know partly what Peter said was correct. I asked around at the team and they all confirmed that there was a bet that day and that Kota volunteered." Ben says making my eyes drop to my twiddling hands.

"What am I supposed to do now?" I ask as Ben and Willow look at each other obviously clueless.

"I think maybe we should just chill at home, watch some tv and get your mind off of it." Willow says. "Schools going to be rough, but you've got the two of us with you."

"Yeah and I doubt Kota will come near me after the bruiser I gave him on Friday." Ben smirks cracking his knuckles.

"Oh please." Willow scoffs rolling her eyes.

The interaction between the two, however small, made me smile. It was good to know that no matter how bad my situation was, I had them both with me.

"A smile, well theres a start." Ben smiles back at me as I roll my eyes.

The week struggled onwards just like it always had. English class was the one I feared most as it was my only class with Kota, but he never showed.

He stopped eating in the cafeteria and kept his curtains closed as did I. His only presence at school seemed to be wherever I wasn't and his obvious attempts to avoid me made me question whether it was for my benefit or his. The only way I knew he was still attending school was because Ben said he showed up at football practice. He also said that Kota got kicked out of football practice because he started a fight with Peter and a few of the other teammates that were involved in the bet. I hadn't seen Corey or Leif either and I knew that Corey and Lauren still hadn't made up. Our group was broken and it hurt knowing it was my and Kota's doing.

On Wednesday as I was grabbing stuff from my locker getting ready for class I felt a small tapping on my shoulder. Turning around I came face to face with a very nervous Corey.

"Hey." I say closing my locker and leaning against it.

"Finn, I just wanted to say that I had no idea the situation would have turned out this way, maybe if I told him to tell you sooner or-"

"Corey stop." I say interrupting him. "This isn't your fault, and you shouldn't have to deal with problems that aren't yours. The truth is, Kota and I are just on different paths right now, and Im really sorry that you and my sister are suffering because of it."

He nods his head slowly at this and looks down at his feet.

"She hasn't? I mean-Has she spoken to you about me or." He begins but I shake my head in response.

"I'm sorry Corey, she doesn't really talk to me about this stuff, you know what she's like." I say hugging my books to my chest.

"Yeah. She's fucking stubborn." He laughs. "But then again she is an Elliot so what do you expect." He says making me chuckle.

"I just." He begins. "I haven't felt this way about anyone before, I love her." He says looking up at me nervously. But he had nothing to be nervous about, I already knew he loved her. It was bright as day, and I knew she loved him. My sister could be stubborn and opinionated and a real bitch most of the time, but her tough exterior was no match for Coreys brown eyes and loving personality. She was smitten and I knew that it was only a matter of time before she forgave him for something he didn't need forgiveness for.
