The rest of the day went by in a blur as everyone tried to discover the reason for Kota's weird behaviour in the cafeteria. The most popular explanation was that he was rushing to see Nicole who had dance practice and got to school late. I wonder who started that one.

Walking out the front door at the end of the day, I see Kota at his motorbike with his back towards me. As I walk over to him I hope that he's waiting to take me home as he seems to be my regular ride now. It's only when I near him that I see a tall blonde girl standing in front of him playing with the hem of his shirt.

"Ahem." I say causing the two to face me.

"Finn. Hey." Says Kota whilst the blonde girl frowns at me. Yeah well I'm not particularly overjoyed at your presence either.

"You mind explaining what that was in the cafeteria?" I ask him, ignoring prima ballerinas glare.

"What are you talking about? I felt sick so I left." He says crossing his arms over his chest and squaring me up, as if testing me to argue with him on it.

"Whatever Kota. Look I don't know what your problem with Raven is, but I like him so can you please just let it be?" I say. Kota's jaw clenches at this.

"I couldn't give a fuck about Raven, Finn. Not everything is about you. If you like him that much then get him to drive you home." He says swinging around so that he straddles the bike. He then picks the blonde girl up and sits her behind him as she giggles and immediately wraps her arms around his torso. Starting the engine, he speeds off leaving me standing with my jaw slack in the middle of the school parking lot wondering what in the ever loving hell just happened.

Well fantastic. I think looking around me, trying to find another option. Ben and Willow are at football and cheerleading practice, so is Raven. And I don't want to bother anyone else as the parking lot is mostly empty by now.

So I decide my only option is to walk home. Which isn't so bad, I mean its about a half hour walk. It will give me time to listen to music... and plot different ways to murder Kota Rivers. The jerk.

Turns out I wasn't able to listen to music, as my phone died 10 minutes in. My half an hour walk also turned out to be a 45 minute walk due to my slow ass dying from carrying my heavy school bag. Also because I am the most unfit person ever.

I went straight to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water chugging it down whilst looking out the window. I could see Kota's bike on the driveway meaning he was most likely in his room... with that blonde chick. Wow, I really am not in the mood to see that right now through my window.

"Hey Loser, how was school?" I hear Lauren as I turn around to see her sit on the kitchen bench.

"Terrible. What about you?" I ask

"Pretty shit. Could go for an ice-cream right now. You up for it?" She asks me.

"Pfft, It's like you don't even know me brother." I say putting down my cup and heading to the front door. Good, this will give me time away from Kota and time to clear my head.

Lauren and I always used to walk down to the ice cream shop on the beach when we were younger, but haven't really done it in a while as we are always busy and or too lazy.

The ice cream shop itself is a small store with only a few selections to choose from. Its booth's face the ocean with large windows letting a nice breeze come through.

When Lauren and I arrive, she chooses the rainbow flavour and I choose cookies and cream. I of course pay, being the lovely sister I am.

"So why was school bad?" Lauren asks as we sit at a booth next to the windows. She already has rainbow coloured cream smeared around her mouth. You would think that at the age of 16 she would be come better at eating damn ice-cream.
