"Oooh I like that one!" Exclaims Willow as I walk out of the change room in a long white taffeta dress.
"Are you kidding me Willow? I look like a Kardashian at their wedding." I reply
"Ooh Thats where I saw it." Leif says laughing.
"You guys are no help!" I yell going back into the change room to try on another one of the billion dresses Willow had picked out for me.
"Hey! Just because I'm gay doesn't mean I have advanced fashion expertise."
"Clearly not, if you wore those pants with that shirt." Willow mutters making Leif gasp.
"My mum got me these pants!"
Every other dress I had tried on that day was either too pink, too sparkly or too not me. It just so happened that the last dress I left to try on was the only one I had a keen eye for.
"Why don't you try on the blue dress that I picked out." Leif yells from the other side of the change room.
"I am, I just wanted to leave it till last." I reply.
Staring at the dress on its hanger, it didn't look like much, but what made it most appealing to me was the intricate detailing of the top, with small diamonds littered amongst it, it sparkled as it moved. From there, the material dropped flowing down like a river. The colour was not exactly common and could only be explained as a product of sky blue and silver. As I slipped the dress on I realised that the entire thing was backless and if it were any lower it would be entirely too revealing.
Stepping out of the change room I was greeted by the smiling faces of my friends and I knew that I had found it.
"Thats the one." Leif smiled and I couldn't agree more.
"You haven't even seen the best part" I say turning around to show the low back.
"Kota is going to shit himself when he sees you in that." Willow comments
"What every girl wants. A formal date with a severe faecal Incompetence." I joke, making her roll her eyes.
"What colour even is that? It looks like rain." Willow says standing up to touch the fabric, which felt like heaven through my fingers.
"Is it expensive?" Leif asks.
"Its definitely going to bruise the bank account. But I think it will be worth it."
"For sure it will be." Willow agrees. "But you should hurry up and get it, we have to meet everyone at Bens house in 20 minutes."
"Oh shit. I completely forgot about that."

"Hey you guys are late." Corey exclaims as he answers the door inviting us in.
"Sorry, we had to buy Finns dress and Leifs tie." Willow replies as we walk to the kitchen and Corey immediately goes to sit with Lauren. I was thankful the two had made up and that what happened between me and Kota didn't affect them long term.
"You found a dress?" Kota asks sitting atop the kitchen bench.
"We sure did. She looks stunning in it." Willow replies walking over to Ben and giving him a kiss.
"Can I see?" Kota asks reaching to grab for the bag in my hand.
"Uh uh! Gotta wait till Friday Rivers." I wink at him making him roll my eyes and kiss me on the cheek. Which in turn makes Ben roll his eyes.
Ben and Kota still hadn't made up, they hadn't spoken a word to each other since their big fight on Friday. I think they both had some over protective issues with each other, and I knew that neither one of them was going to confront the other about it.
