I was awoken the next morning by my alarm. No. Too early. I quickly press the snooze button and carry on with my deep slumber. Only minutes later am I woken again, but this time by a tapping sound on my window. That better be a damn hail storm and not who I think it is.
Crawling out of bed and walking to my window, I open my curtain to see Kota standing there in all his glory.
"Morning Happiness." He says smiling at my dozed state.
"What do you want Kota?" I ask, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and yawning.
"I am here to offer you a lift to school again." He says smiling at me. I pause for a moment and think about his offer.
"Why? You don't plan on throwing me off the bike so that I can't go to my date tonight do you?" I ask with only slight sarcasm.
Kota fake gasps at this. "What? Me? Absolutely not. In fact I completely forgot about your date until just now." He says smirking. Liar.
"Whatever Kota. But Ben is driving me, like he does every morning." I say
"Well, I guess you will just have to message him and tell him you have another lift in." He asks smiling. "Plus, I am sure he would be perfectly happy with giving that other girl a lift so that they are all alone."
"What?" I ask, mishearing him due to my half comatose state.
"Ahh my Naive Greenie." Kota says amusedly. "Now message Ben and tell him that I am driving you, or so help me I will drag you to my bike myself"
Jeez, why is he so persistent on driving me? Not that I am complaining or anything of course.
"Whatever." I say annoyed. Closing the curtains and walking to my bathroom I smile to myself a little bit. I love riding on Kota's Bike.
I send Ben a quick message telling him of my plans. To which he responds with 'Be careful'. I also send Willow the same message and her response is 'Have fun ;)'. These mixed signals.
Getting ready as quickly as I can, I throw on a pair of ripped jeans and a Gorillaz top. Going into the bathroom, I take in my disheveled state and cringe. Ugh.
For some weird reason, I felt like wearing a bit of makeup today. I usually never do, but today I feel like I wouldn't mind to look a bit nicer. My hair is knotty, so I brush it and just leave it in soft waves down my back. I then put on a bit of mascara and eyeliner, with a dab of lipgloss.
All in all, I still look like Finn Elliot, but maybe a slightly improved Finn Elliot. My phone buzzes in my pocket and reading it I see that it is from 'Hottest guy alive', obviously Kota telling me to hurry up. Funny, I don't remember ever putting his number in my phone... or even asking for it. Walking downstairs and out the front door, Kota is sitting on his motorbike waiting for me.
"When did you put your contact in my phone?" I ask him.
"When you were passed out asleep spooning me at Dave's party." He says so calmly I almost choke.
"KOTA! Stop saying stuff like that!" I say smacking his shoulder causing him to chuckle.
"I wont apologise for speaking the truth." He says smirking.
"I am walking to school." I say turning around, Kota quickly grabs my forearm to stop me.
"Common, I was just messing, now get on the bike you drama queen."
I growl at this and hop on the back of the bike still annoyed with him. As I wrap my arms around his muscular back I feel my anger wash away.
The ride to school was short, but I still enjoyed every moment. Jumping off the bike, I am not even surprised this time when everyone turns to stare at us. I bet they are just as confused to Kota's and my relationship as I am. We are friends? Kinda, but I also hate him sometimes. As Kota and I walk into school together, we arrive at my locker to find that Ben and Willow are standing there and Willow is laughing at something Ben is saying. Man, those two are so bipolar.
